정말 알면 알수록 영어라는 언어는 서양 문화가 그대로 반영 되어있네요. 세세한것 까지 확실하게 구분지어야 의미가 제대로 전달이 된다는게 우리말과 많이 다르긴 다르네요. 뭔가 논리적이고 합리적인걸 추구하는 그런 문화요.

가끔 know와 비슷한 의미로 see를 사용하기도 하는데 둘의 차이점이 있나요? He did not see why he suffered. 이것을 He did not know why he suffered. 라고 바꿔도 되는건가요?

Back then, I knew how to speak Chinese, so I had no trouble getting around. I knew her back in high school. 고등학교때는 알았지만 지금음 모른다.

get 동사 자체가 변화의 느낌을 가지고있어요 그래서 got to know 라고 하면 알도록 변화된 상태니까 알게되었다가 되는겁니다 ㅎㅎ Ex) I got my hair cut 이렇게되면 나 머리했어! (짜잔~~) I'm cold 라고하면 나 추운 상태야 요정도만 나타나는데 I'm getting cold 라고하면 점점 추워지고있다 라고하는 변화를 보여주게됩니다! 도움이 되셨길 바랄게요

많이 늦었지만, get to know 에 대해 봤던 영상이 하나 있어요.라이브 아카데미라는 채널에서 '알다'라는 주제로 진행했던 영상인데요.요약하자면 get to know는 그 뒤에 '사람'만을 목적어로 넣을 수 있고 '알게 되다'의 의미로 써서If you get to know him, you would find out he's such a nice and gentle guy.이런식으로 쓰는데, 사람이 대상이 아닌 경우의 '알게 되다'는영상에 나오는 여러가지 단어/구 들이 쓰인다고 하네요

Hi, thanks for leaving a comment! Yes, that would be incorrect. You could say, "I found out about your show on KZbin" or you could say, "I found out that you have a show on KZbin." To my knowledge, "found out" is always followed by "about" or "that." Thanks for watching!
