Hey guys, I wanted to get this up because I have been asked so many times in the comments of all my video’s lately where I farm Iron Hide, so I wanted to share my favorite spots!! Hope it helps!

Adding this below yours so people will at least have to click for extra. But lately one of my favorite iron hide farms is the water glyph area. Probably slower than most, but the upside of getting a relatively expensive glyphs, not to mention the t4/t5 cloth nodes respawn pretty quick there as well. It at least keeps the daily CD's rolling while farming iron hide kinda like the orichalcum/platinum from the thick hide farm.

@@matthewc171 With Trophies and like 350+ dex if you put an onyx in a bow you can deal like 8k+ on full health targets.

What is so great about skinning luck is that for the armorer expertise method, scarhide and smolderhide are also tier 5 leather you can use to craft, which makes you able to craft so much more to get more xp It's basicaly like you are dropping infused leather out of thin air There is also so much of them in the leatherworking caches ( which should xp very fast if you craft infused leather ) that you end up with a ton of bonus armorer xp for free Without even considering that when you craft with those, when you recycle items you crafted, you get infused leather Like man it's not an endless loop but it feels almost like it

Thank you for a great guide man! I am struggling with one particular question for a very long time already. Is there any luck threshold which does not make sense to go over, cause it does not increase your chances to get more scarhide or smolderhide? For example, I do use only armor, amulet, 3 major trophies and I get 1 rare hide on every 28 ironhide. I really doubt that having more luck will really increase this percentage ... Any thoughts?

I found a good spot in eden Grove on the east side of the teleport spot of Gen expedition just by chance. It's a bit contested in my server.

Brimstone and Reekwater are also good because they can handle more than 1 player farming at a time. Lots of places posted by YTr's are perfect scenario all by yourself locations. Are the boars near genesis still feasible?

So you said you crafted your skinning gear, how would I go about doing that? Just make shadewalkers with jagged animal fang? Wouldn't that be too expensive, or is there a cheaper alternative?

you can if you have the trophy's make it cheap guaranteeing 590, then upgrade with the umbrals, or you can roll with runic , either works

I never understood people underestimating the coin you can get off a single lucky skin. You can use 4 purples to make gloves, and get an infused leather for salvage. So if you get super lucky and get 4 scar hides from a skin, that’s basically the same as getting (near) free armoring skill points and a free infused leather. Sometimes the loot table can spit out 7-9 at once.

Sounds very interesting. Which gloves to make using just 4 scarhides? Don't you need other mats? Isn't infused leather just a cheap material? Sorry am a noob

@@mrbicboi2540 you can replace the infused leather with scar hide to make infused leather gloves. Which is why infused and the t5 purples leather are around the same price. As for needing other mats, yes that’s the (nearly) free part. Since 4 linen and 1 iron ingot is only 20% of the cost of 4 scar hides.

@@mrbicboi2540 usually 1 infused leather, 3 gold and some repair parts. It’s the best item for leveling armoring. It only takes like 40-60 gloves for an armoring expertise level. Which is where the money is. Because you get 1.5k-2k in legendaries each time from those crates. And farming the leather for that doesn’t take long. Overall, infused leather is the best t5 mat to use for armoring aptitude. Just saying if you put luck gear on while farming, and end the week with 200 extra scarhide, you can use it after you run out of infused leather for more aptitude. Or just sell it. Point is it can be worth the time making skinning luck gear before going on a farm run.

No i mean nerf to iron hide yields, the eden grove boars give much less now, but many think as I did, that even after the nerf you will still get more due to the sheer amount of boars, but too many bots

You can, you just need to use the jeweler armor crafting set, earing with +5 jewel craft, food giving +15 jewel crafting, and 3 x major armoring trophy's :)

in my opinion, the spot that is located in edengrove , where you need to kill boars better than these two, in 40 minutes you can get full bags, 150-300 scarhide and smolderhide and 9k iron hide + 300-350 soul motes

the issue is it is an old spot, and is where the bots gather, as I said in the video, it is in a perfect world the best, but when it is contested by 4-5 players or bots.. not so much

Hey first what's your name or nickname! I love your videos, its so rich in information. I would like to request a video about luck(new recent one, of course i watched your last one 8 months ago)! Its such good topic. I've seen most videos about luck in KZbin but I don't have a conclusion. All i know is that me and my wife farmed Baines 200x, she had exactly 16.1% luck, i had 29.6%, she dropped the luck bow 5x, 2glowing sap (200KILLS), I dropped no Bow, No glowing sap. We Also farmed Fay, for the luck rapier, Chefs pants, 20kills in she got 3 chef pants,1 rapier 3 named War hammer, and i dropped 1 chef pants, so i changed my set to 16% luck, 5 more kills in, I dropped 1 chef pants, 1 rapier (I was shocked). We also go in daily chest runs, 2 weeks of chest runs, Chest drops seems equal (only difference she got loaded dices, i got Armorer's Journal). I think there's a sweet stop for Named items.

9158 Iron Hide is almost 10k coin on your server? Dang I wish I was there! It's 0.2 to 0.25 on a good day on my server so that'd be 1.8-2k or so here, probably less since most casuals likely wont have all the trophies and skinning gear. Still, 2k an hour is not that bad considering all the other raw resources are 0.05-0.10 here
