These are the type of Details I like to watch, real life scenarios. Here I thought I was the only one that took 4/5 hrs per premium service 😅 Great job Carlos.

That thumbnail threw me off a bit, I’m glad I didn’t miss this. The camera shot of the gear shift knob and cup holder was very stable and well positioned. Lots of nice shots in this video… thanks for posting I enjoyed watching.Cheers

I just detailed a Nissan Murano & spent 6 hours cleaning & decon. the exterior, 6 hours polishing & protecting the exterior & about 6 hours cleaning, steaming & protecting the interior. For having over 90K miles, it turn out great! Tremendous job on your detail!

Nice transformation Mr. Carlos! Your skills as a detailer are evident in this thorough detail. I personally have never tried anything from Drive Auto Appearance but I have heard great things about their products from many different detailers. I just have so much product at the moment, I don't really need anything else but when I do, I am going to give that Drive Auto Appearance brand a try. I've heard their rinseless wash is a pretty good product. Also have heard really good things about the Flex Ice and those carpet cleaning powders from several detailers who swear by those two products for upholstery and carpets. I also use an enzyme cleaner when the carpets are that bad. The enzyme cleaners work better than the regular carpet cleaning products in my opinion and leave a nice fresh scent which I like. And I like that they also help to break down any bad odors and make the cabin smell factory new again. They actually eliminate odors at the source rather than cover them up, only to have some of the smell eventually come back. I think an enzyme based product is a "must have" when doing interior fabrics of whatever type you are dealing with. I've used them on everything from carpets, upholstery, and alcantara with zero problems and excellent results. I usually get my enzyme cleaner from Poorboys World. Reasonably priced, smells great, works great, kills odors in fabrics better than most of what I have ever used. I mix it up in a wash pail with warm DI water and then scrub the carpets, fabrics, alcantara with a softer interior carpet cleaning brush, and then extract it out using a steam based extractor using plain ole' clean water so I am not introducing any chemical deep down into the carpets or leaving any chemical behind with the extraction process. Then I might hit it with a spritz of P&S Finisher to neutralize any leftover chemical that may still be inside the fibers of the carpets and upholstery but not always and it still comes out looking and smelling perfect after it dries. Using an enzyme based carpet cleaning product is the best way to get all the smells out if you do have smells. Using a normal carpet cleaner also has it's benefits on non-organic stains which typically don't smell although they can be tougher stains to remove and need a higher PH to attack stuff like ground in dirt, grease, pen marks, etc. A two step process using a higher ph normal carpet cleaner, and then the enzyme based cleaner as the second step, and then rinsing it with clear warm water is the best way to ensure you get all the crap out of the carpets and cloth upholstery. I have even used a microfiber cloth soaked in the warm enzyme cleaner and then scrubbed headliners by hand with pretty good results. Then I follow it with a clean microfiber to mop it up. It just depends on how in-depth you want to get with the cleaning job. For example, if I ever purchased a used vehicle (which I normally do not), I would go in with all the steps the very first time I did an interior detail just to ensure all the dirt, grime, and leftover who knows what inside the cabin from the previous owner was flushed away and you start with as close to a factory fresh interior as you can from week 1 but that's just my way of doing it. I also fully steam out the interiors (except for the headliner which can get you into unwanted trouble with a steamer if you aren't really careful. I have used a steamer on headliners before, but you really have to use caution keeping the steam jet away from any direct contact with the headliner either through wrapping multiple microfibers over the head or keeping it positioned far away from direct contact. It's easier to just use a pearl weave microfiber cloth soaked in enzyme (or your cleaner of choice) and then scrub it and then use a separate clean cloth to mop it up. That way it's a safe way to clean your headliner. I think people would be surprised how much dirt and gunk comes off of a headliner. It seems to collect a lot of junk over the time you own your vehicle, especially if you drive with your windows down. So much dirt, dust, and unseen debris enters into the cabin with an open window while driving. And it clings to every surface inside the cabin including and especially the headliner. And the headliner is an area a lot of DIY'er's at home and detailing enthusiast forget to clean on a regular basis. Just a simple wipe down with a microfiber soaked in your diluted cleaner of choice (as long as it's safe for fabrics) a few times per year can keep a headliner much cleaner. It will also help to keep unwanted odors in the cabin to a minimum. I can't believe how bad that interior looked. That was horrible. How in the heck could someone keep a car in that condition?! That's unbelievable. There were probably more unseen critters and creatures in that car that the owner wants to know! At least before you sterilized it with the steam. Your transformation was expert level detailing.

Wow, Carlos. I actually had a detail this morning with the same car. It had the exact same issue with the dashboard. Not only was it sticky, but it had dog hair stuck into the dash. I did my best to at least get the dog hair off. The first thing I thought about was you!!! 😆 I asked myself how would Carlos handled this situation. 😁
