For starters in my opinion and experience, ask customer if you can use their water and electricity. Till now I have no one refused it or unless they live in an apartment complex, to which they are ready to drop off the car at my shop. Trust build up is important: Outward appearance wins half the battle. T-shirts and branding will definitely come in time. All the advice Carlos mentioned keep at it. We live in a world where people expect instant gratification. Detailing attracts that group cuz of how inexpensive the start up is. I started in 2022 with a 2015 Chevy Cruze. With a tiny harbor freight vac and I just replaced it in 2024. Car has been sold and I am now shop based. Bur that wasn't my doing. That was my dad. Not everyone gets the shots I've been given. But I started small and stayed small for over 2 years.
