Check the coach Dave wet lap guide, showing you this. And to be honest if you do a couple practice laps you notice it and won’t do it again. I keep the white line in the middle of my car as that is the best line to break.

I did one this morning as well and the most fun I had in Iracing in years. Starting in the pit and finished p2 with 0 IN (in the BMW as this is the only one I want to drive). What baffled me was how almost every lap was different.

Hey Dodgy Dave here 😅 sorry for the turn 1 tap, the spray in the first couple of laps was overwhelming and led to some misjudgments. Also, this is the first time that I swapped my lovely BMW for another car, the Audi was a huge difference in the next race.

Fun race to watch. How do you enable the Crew Chief to tell the iRating of the driver ahead? Mine only tells the name and gap but not the iRating and could not find it in the settings. I would like to have that info as well

Great video as always. May I ask a question. How do you get your crew chief to say so much. Mine isn't anywhere near as chatty. I've tinkered with the settings but still not as good as yours for info.

I actually had to tinker with the settings to keep it from babbling nonsense all the time. I don't mind the occasional bit of unsolicited advice, but I don't need it multiple times a lap lol. I'm in a happy place with that turned down and the rest mostly on default. Not sure if Dave has custom settings though

I think they need to improve the visibility through spray a bit - it's a little overkill and not realistic.

Now even more it'd be interesting to have series where you are stuck for the rest of the season with the car you use in first race. Then you wouldn't be able to change car what's fastest on each track. I doubt that they'll ever do one, but it'd be more realistic and isn't that what they are after?

The issue is that people would just race less then . “Oh I’m gonna be a second slower this week because of the car I choose 5 weeks ago, guess I’m not racing much this week”

Interesting to see the results. But like mentioned I doubt iracing will enforce that because people would just race less if the car slower. Maybe in e-sport series where there are price money based on final result of the season, but I doubt that's going to happen either.

race line does'nt dry right,,,,that racing line should have dried quicker with all those cars tires pulling up the water

@@davecamyt How do you define ok? "I'm not crashing."? When all the real-life pros are saying the normal dry line is slower when the race gets wet, it is probably safe to take their word. I think I've watched three of your wet races now. And one thing I've noticed is you tend to drive the normal dry line regardless. And on the few occasions in those races where you ventured away from the normal dry line you ended up picking up places because you had more grip while you ventured off that normal dry line, and could consequently go faster than the people beside you on the normal dry line. The majority of the time you stayed on the normal dry line, and paraded around with everyone else, not making any forward progress. The pros' advice helped you when you followed it. You're faster where there's more grip.
