So many people bag on belle isle, but i visited it many times between 2012 ish til it closed and it was an absolute blast to hang out and watch races here. I live about an hour from detroit, we dont get a ton of top level road racing up here, glad to see IMSA and Indycar show interest the last decade or so

Great race, and as always great video. I had this conversation about watching out for other drivers and trying to avoid a possible incident yesterday during the Fuji 8hr race. Right after I got hit with my first experience with "netcode" but it happens and we raced on, still had a great time. Again love the videos, and keep them coming.

Before I decided to refurbish the whole downstairs where my harry potter sim room was located I got into F4 and thought that there was a lot of good racers in that series, considerably more than equivalent IR Mazda / GT series. The awareness of one guy not turning into me when I inevitably came barrelling into bus stop at Spa still amazes me.

So I found out something cool! If you buy the invicta wheel and you choose the grips all of the grips that come with the invicta are different then there standard ones. If you notice they are very soft but not sticky. A different texture then the ones on the forte and la prima. So yes you can use your old ones with it but if you biy any of the grips with the invicta it will come with the higher quality grips they are using for it. I thought it was just the lmp grips but no its all of them. Very cool and probably my favorite feeling grips out there. Also the xl grips are so so good! I dont even have big hands but absolutely love the XL grips. I just wish there was a way to buy these grips with this material and or texture for all of the wheels. But then again I loved there old ones also. But they nailed these. Not sticky but still soft which is a rare combi doesnt do the skin thing. Im surprised. So people thinking they were just the same grips they arent. But god they feel good. Maybe even ever so slightly softer then the old ones and they were already soft. But I love grips like this. They may be my favorite grips of all time. Tbh this may be my favorite wheel of all time. This is truely designed for sim racing and you can tell. Its so perfect. I hope they will gibe us add on options for the shifters later. I bet they will 😉. They have done everything else they said they would that we aksed for. What an amazing company/brand. They have my support forever. They are strslaight foward. Listen, do what the comnunity wants and more. They dont fake being overly nice. They dont fake caring. They just are like every other human and dont hide anything. Love it.

That's the problem with many "D" class races. While often fun combos, they are filled with 2 & 3k D licenses drivers that try to bully the other racers. They have nothing to lose so they dive bomb "A" class drivers because they know we will likely move out of the way. They can get 12x per race and it not matter much.

i am from detroit, I can see my work on the horizon in the game, but man I hate road courses like this. you are slow if you dont use all the track, and if you use 1" too much of the track, you are in a wall. Probs a skill issue I guess but man I hate that track.

12X is an absolute abomination. iRacing is severly broken. The sad truth is it probably won't be fixed anytime soon. Pity. So many races ruined for undeserving drivers. C'mon iRAcing!! Get your shit together and sort it out. If they can assign damabge to a particular area of your car in a crash, Why can't they couple that with the damage from the maniac who runs you over, steering and brake telemetry and assign penalties correctly. It's not like netcode that is largely uncontrollable.
