Ashton really doesn’t get enough recognition. He’s literally the glue that really pushed the band to become a real band. I remember them saying how he was the one telling the other boys to stop messing around and start actually working together for the band. He’s the one we have to thank for them going worldwide.

That's absolutely true. I think it's cool that Michael was the original "manager", getting them the original gigs and accepting offers, finding other members, putting it together, coming up with the name. Ashton took over and straightened them out and did it really well. I love them so much.

it's insane to see how the group chemistry has stayed so strong after 10 years. i feel like it's rare for bands to still like each other after being all up in each others business for that long. this is so fuckin wholesome

We all know the classic age-old tale of Ashton getting a creepy facebook message from Michael about the Annandale gig, but I'm loving this whole narrated backstory with details! I had no idea that Liz was Ashton's maths teacher (thats so funny hahaaha), or that you guys (or at least Michael and Luke) had a gig before THE gig. it’s crazy for me to think you guys were always connected to the other like Ashton being Liz’s student already connected him to Luke EVEN if they never met before, i feel like that’s something and i strongly believe you four are best friends soulmates. Your chemistry is incredible and even after 10 years it’s still the same. You guys were meant to find each other and you were meant to dedicate yourselves to music... everything in this band, all the sacrifices and effort and taking all the opportunities that came to you were a work of the universe to take you where you are now celebrating 10 years of one dream that seemed so big and almost unreachable for a group of 14-16 year olds and now i have the honor to say you are one of the greatest of our generation.
