Thanks man. Just left Auro zone if FL and they lent me the 10mm open end wrench and deep socket. Took 5 minutes. Note that car starts and immediately shuts off upon fist start. Part of the resent I’m told. Second start you are ready to go.

My oem Panasonic battery is on year 7. CCA got lowered but still working. Planning to change it soon.

Hey. Did the idle change after the battery swap? If so for how long until it relearned? I am thinking to clean the throttle body and I will disconnect the battery for that for extra safety.

What happens if dead battery lasted overnight and now affecting electrical system even after new battery is installed? Is resetting needed? How do I do that at home? Appreciate your feedback!

What type of battery is the factory panasonic battery lead agm?🤷🏼‍♂️

I believe it’s just a typical lead acid.

Can I leave the 4 runner without a battery for about an hour til I trade in the old battery and get a new battery

I just replaced my 4Runner battery and left it overnight without a battery. The only thing I had to reset was the clock and it zero's out your trip A & B odometers. That's all, everything else is fine.

I disconnected my battery for about an hour to change the headlights on my 4Runner. First start, it stayed on for a few seconds then stalled. Not concerned. I think it was just the idle. Seems to be fine now.

My 4Runner has occasionally done this as well. I haven’t really seen a pattern with it.

Hey btw, once you disconnect the battery your control module has to reset itself so that's why it takes two "turn-ons".
