Southern’s book of arrangements is unmatched. Jackson State grooves everything they play. Both juggernauts! When it’s time to slow it down and not just blow, SU’s arrangers consistently separate themselves from the rest. Definitely top 2 bands.

Both bands did excellent and put on a great show for all the fans. Personally, I preferred southern's selections, but that's just my opinion. Great job JSU. This battle really could go either way. Let's talk about them tubas though. Dawg Team will always be some dawgs, however let's give some props to the Stallions too. This is the best they have ever sounded. They can only get better from now on. Proud of y'all boys.
