My mom is really good at math. She graduated in 3 years at OSU. She tested into really high math though. Ironically at the community college I had to take remedial math, and barely got through it. But at least the community college was more geared towards remedial classes. Because I tested into remedial classes, I got to take "How to be a master student" course it was the best class ever!

Hi Marissa! Ive now watched a ton of your videos and I LOVE them!!, While they answer a lot of my questions would you mimd if I ask a few more? If youre okay with answering: 1) I went pre-college/dorm room shopping and purposely looked for a lamp with multiple shifts/light functions so that I can still use it so that I have enough light to study, but also not disturb my roomate. Is that still selfish of me, even if I'm really quiet, to have that? To use it if shes trying to sleep? 2) should I get a mini lock box for my very personal stuff? I usually keep cash on me because I feel its how I am most responsible With money. If you were my dorm mate, would me locking some stuff up offend you? 3) My plans for clothing are: 15 shirts, all my pants, all my socks, and underwear. My plan for laundry is to wear everything once and then after two weeks do laundry in my last outfit. Should I do laundry more? Is that a bad/good plan? Ive never lived on my own before or had to share a room where my space was really really limited and I dont want to bring too much..... Thank you so much!! Even if you dont answer the questions watching your videos has REALLY helped my incoming freshman anxieties. Thank you!
@MyDriftingDesk5 жыл бұрын
1. that's TOTALLY not selfish!! That's actually being quite respectful of your roommate by getting that! 2. Honestly, it may make me think like "hmm, I wonder if they don't trust me, if that's why they're locking their stuff up" but also, it's totally normal to do that. I never had anything worth locking up hahaha, so I never did! If you got one, you could always keep it in a drawer or under your bed so it isn't so BAM in your face that you lock your things up. 3. Doing laundry every other week sounds like a great plan! that's typically what I did in the dorms, especially since you have to pay to do laundry lol. I hope that helped!! also I'm so sorry for the late response!

Why are you a fifth year senior?
@thebeezkneez25575 жыл бұрын
Some programs are 5 year programs. Even taking 5 classes a semester and a summer class each summer I will graduate half way through my second senior year. Which I did go to community college first which may have affected it. Sometimes too, if you change your major it can cause you to have to take other classes while making other classes you have taken useless for your end degree. Therefore, causing you to have to go a semester, or four, extra.

Yep, did the full time thing during community college myself. Even though CC was easy to me, working 45 to 50 hours a week leaves almost no time to study effectively. It also took a huge toll on my now non-existent social life (if I wasn't at work I was at school, sleeping, or studying, when possible {literally never}, which leaves absolutely no time to hang out with friends). Hey, but so far I am not knee deep in debt. (Worth it 😁)
