Wow, what an amazing yarn store, never seen any store so big. You wouldn't find a yarn store like that in NYC. We just had the NYC Yarn Crawl. I got two skeins of Sea Change Fibers hand dyed 85% wool 15% silk from California, bought from the Brooklyn General Store. Then I went to Argyle Yarn store at Prospect Park West in Brooklyn. I got three skeins of Hedgehog Fibers yarn from Ireland 100% wool in color Crush. I also got more of the Luminous Brooklyn yarn in worsted weight in color Shock Value. Then last day of the crawl, I got to go to Knitty City on upper west side. It was amazing, they had the Artist who hand dyes the yarn Yarn Over New York. Such a lovely lady, and after talking to her, I bought one of her fingering weight yarn to double strand to make a hat.

Natalie, you should be one of the next "Stars"! Although I have to say, I've invested in 2 seasons and was disappointed. The content is interesting, but for the money ($249 or $349, depending on the offer) I expected more actual tutorials. For example, season 7 included a workshop on socks with Summer Lee, with more than 2 hours of video, but very little that actually helped me cast on and knit a sock. In an 11-min tutorial on sizing, she doesn't actually talk about measurements until 8 minutes in, when she demonstrates measuring the ball of your foot. That's the only measurement, with no discussion of negative ease or the gauge swatch. Instead of a gauge swatch, she recommends knitting several rows and then trying it on your arm to see if you like the fit (nm that's not where we usually wear socks). There was almost 40 minutes about heels, but nothing about toes. Fortunately I found your Perfect Fit workshop and, after 3 pairs of socks, feel pretty confident about my sock knitting. I keep hoping you'll do another one for sweaters :-)
