Man that takes me back to high school football. I was small and not very good so I ended up on the scout team going against offensive linemen who regularly had up to 100 pounds on me. That sprawled out, laying there and accepting your death is so relatable.
@nelsondu233329 күн бұрын
Man, it's crazy that kids take that kind of long term damage for high school football. Might not feel it for a year, two years, even five years-but those hits will come back late 30s or 40s. And those are still supposed to be good years.
@jwilliams317029 күн бұрын
@nelsondu2333 oh yeah I’m 30 and feel it every day. I went through the police academy at 27 so I was a little older than most, but my body broke down during the moderately vigorous workouts and I’m sure it’s all because of the physical abuse I took as a teenager. I’ve stayed in pretty decent shape since then and I’m all braces and ibuprofen. My sons won’t be encouraged to play football.

It usually happens so fast that you don’t even realize what just happened and then you feel your head feel like it just exploded... the crazy thing is it’s manageable as your adrenaline is going so fast you just deal with it.. once the game is over is when the real pain begins

he did do a spin earlier and it was great, but he was trying to avoid being tackled by a defender right before the hit so he was off balance and his attention had shifted. That's why he got smoked. watch in slo mo.
