I have an old 6.2 I pulled out of A 2 wheel drive square body . Also want to swap it into something. I want to make a 20 plus mile per gallon going to town errand truck.

yep, it rained the day before so the whole area was slick clay. got rid of the 6.2 due to lack of power and RPM for the atlas but it now has a 5.3 in it.

NoBluffBuff I’m using an atlas 4 speed. 10.38:1 ratio and 117:1 final crawl ratio. Now it’s LS swapped since I needed more rpm

@@Bean4dip That is neat! The 117:1 did really well from what I saw here. People are going with crazy deep ratios like 830:1. Doesn't look like there is much slippage going on even at your ratio, however.

I’m surprised that people recognize that it is. With some it just looks off and asks if I stretched the wheelbase. I narrowed the nose down 16” now.

Not on this engine when I had it. On steep declines I had the low oil pressure light flicker once or twice. Pulled this motor out and swapped a 5.3 in, should check out my newer videos. I had it on way steeper inclines than this.
