Summer of 94 I worked for a paving outfit out of Greeley Colorado. We did a job in Estes Park. The company pickup was a Chevy with a 6.2 diesel. It was the end of the day and we were on our way back to the yard on route 34. Went to pass a car. We floored it and when it grabbed passing gear it belched black smoke out of the tailpipes

I don’t necessarily recommend it but a friend of mine was able to turn up the injection pump to a substantial level before I bought the truck off of him
