Never ever Leave Your Rifle while going Down Range.

I have this rifle, love it! But mine shoots much tighter groups without a break. 3/4 inch groups without, 2 inch with. I have tried several different ones. I have more than a few that group better without a break. JMHO

I'm guessing that's because of the pencil thin barrel. To me I'm not gonna shoot a gun without a break. So if it won't shoot with a break then no point of having the gun for me

I really enjoyed how you did this video. Very relaxing and relatable to how I spend my time testing loads. Have you had any issues with the mossberg such as feeding or anything? Also, what brake is that?

Hi Rob, nice video, may we know what muzzle brake do you used? Thank you

It is hard to tell but it actually looks like you may have hit the pigeon at 3:37
@RobsReloading3 жыл бұрын
Looks to me like it hit the steel then fragments of the bullet hit the pigeon. Wish I would have had a better shooting set up to see the trace and adjust POI.

There are a lot of videos that trash the accuracy of that gun. It's nice looking though I still kind of want one.

I would recommend going a different direction.

Not trying to be a keyboard warrior just giving some advice. Keep your position after fireing your shots if you go back and review the footege you can see your moving your rifel when you pull the bolt back

You know that barrel is hot with all that shooting which will compromise Accuracy

No shame in that game at all. It’s harder than it looks.

You may not be aware of the issues affecting the Patriot. With 2.75 inch groups at 100yds you can guess what 600yds looks like. Mossberg makes a great shotgun...

@Marzen my Mossberg 270 has no issues with grouping at 100 yards.

Man you should be proud of that cheap gun! if it was a deer or a zombie you would have dumped it just fine.
@evanhovis91262 жыл бұрын
The rifle would hit the pigeon every time if you would have realized you were high and adjusted. Insanity is trying the same thing over and over and over and getting the same result. The bullet hit the same spot in the dirt every time. Should have realized high impact on the steel. The cartridge and rifle was doing their part

That's the downfall of a light hunting rifle. Makes it difficult to follow through and spot misses. I need to give this another go!
@evanhovis91262 жыл бұрын
@@RobsReloading for sure. I shoot 6.5 creedmoor at range fairly often and theres one thing i can assure, usually a miss is my fault. And just about any rifle on the market these days, no matter how cheap can shoot moa with good ammo and a good shooter behind it

I'd say sight the gun in before trying again. That was embarrassing. Why would you leave your rifle, bolt closed and go down range? Stupid!
