The bet is called Don't Pass. "Bar 12" means "except 12". If a 12 is rolled on the come out roll, it is a push.

Hedge that don't 10 with 70 bucks $12, on 6 12$ on 8 after 3 wins pull em all down and start over again. You risk losing 70 if a 10 hits, you can hedge the hardway 10 with $10 and that'll save you from the 5,5 roll. That's why you want to pull them all down after a few wins and start over, dance around that 6,4 roll.

Nice video! I like the strategy and will try. May get into $1 hardways bet on 10,4 then parlay and collect if they hit. Also may hedge(insurance)the come out roll with a $1-2 any seven. Also this will win a free $25 with a 2,3 on the comeout. I can see this working with playing the long game and keeping the bets low. No pressing! 👍🏽

You should increase the DP bet so it has more separation from the place bet total to turn the 7 into a “true” winner. Otherwise you’re essentially breaking even using the DP as a hedge and leave yourself with a lower likelihood of recouping the inevitable come out losses.

@@flyerjack1548 If the DP isn’t an ~20% winner over what you’ve got at risk with your place bets then it doesn’t seem worthwhile in my opinion. Let’s say you’re on a $15 table with a point of 9, I’d want probably have $45-$50 in coverage on the DP for the $18 place bets on the 6 and 8

Really like this content. I'm looking for a slow grind to start. You know, make something out of nothing. Some of the content elsewhere I've seen is a bit silly. I like the grinder, degenerate strategies. If I see another 1 or 2 great grinder basic strategies I'd be happy to sub. Liked ur content.

If the point gets put on the eight, would it be okay to leave my bet on the 8? That way it would be like playing just the six except if the eight does get hit. I don't lose the full 25. Just 11?

Figuring out the odds and payoffs both at different levels is the most difficult for me. Does the come bet number pay the same as an equivalent line bet number?

After a few hits on 6 and 8 and you have made a profit, you could always remove the Don't Pass to avoid losing it, correct? I know the chances are higher a 7 will be rolled but I guess it is one way to eliminate losing the $25 on point roll.

Yes, you could remove the Don’t Pass if you wanted.

Only an idiot would remove or reduce a Don't Pass bet after the point is established. Just Place bet the point to guarantee a tie or win.
