2017 F250 6.7 Powerstroke goes on the dyno for the first time to see what kind of power were making with our Stage 1 kit. Kit includes Custom SPE diesel tuning, "muffler" delete, and the SOTF switch with mount. Everything else is completely stock! Will it make 600 hp? Comment below your thoughts on this!

I’ve got a 15 f350 dually utility bed with ladder racks loaded for pressure washing and softwashing 250G water and 55G chem tanks. None the who it’s CAI, fully deleted, 165G Afe pump and tuned. It’s my work truck but boy even with my tanks filled and dragging my 16ft work trailer that I fill to guts, I have no issues overtaking anyone or ever getting up to whatever speed I want too. It does make very loud but very sweet noises and a lot of smoke in that process. Getting sent to grapplebees by a utility truck has frustrated many people.

Is this with the spe tunes? I have ppei tunes never had it on a dyno but from what I’ve seen with my setup 5” straight pipe exhaust egr delete and no limit intake other trucks have put down 576whp on the 5th tune. If this is the case looks like I’m swapping over to spe tunes.

Trey K that's good to know. I was following a 6.7 truck on the highway in the fast lane recently and I was like are you kidding me. Blowing so much soot. I have a tuned turbo vw gas motor making about 18-20 psi with a catless downpipe. It's port injection and has a quality tune from a company called unitronic and you wouldn't even know it's catless. Rarely get a nasty smell. Tiny bit on a Cold start only once in awhile.

aarono43 I was actually comparing my only other experience with aftermarket tuning. The point being that modern engines gas or diesel burn much cleaner than old technology, due to the sample rate of the modern ecu. I guess I was tired and didn't get my point across well enough for the trolls.

I bought a kit from a different seller and well its under par does the tuner you have sell the tunes and support as its own package cause i have the ezlynk straight pipe egr and def delete all the emmisions gone for my retrofit but the tunes dont feel as they claim they just feel like fuel dumping and thats it

Your supposed to use the Uncorrected values becase the SAE ad Standard do not apply to turbos because the spring pressure does not chnge with elevation and temperature! Ill have my 2019 Powerstroke F250 on April 29th or 30th! Im using mine to haul cars in the 48 states withca 34ft trailer! So ill leave mine stock with no tune or no mods! But use theUNcorrected numbers! SAE is for Normally aspirated motors not turbos!

Correction factors work very well for the most part, they use to be wrong 5-8 years ago, but the new weather stations and correction factor data they have work very well. The data collected from them is more than just boost pressure and barometric pressure. It also includes temp and humidity which both play big parts in overall power. Turbo cars will make 1-3 psi more on average form 1000Ft elevation to 6700ft. This is because of elevation or atmospheric pressure. If our starting atmospheric pressure is 11.7PSI, roughly 6700 feet above sea level, and we have a 10lbs wastegate spring installed, well 10 lbs above that 11.7Psi is 21.7PSI Absolute pressure. We take 21.7 minus 14.7 for a total of 7PSI above sea level. We do this because sea level's atmosphere is 14.7PSI and your point is 10psi is 10 psi. Now say we are starting at sea level atmosphere, which is again 14.7Psi, 10 lbs above that is a total of 24.7Psi absolute pressure, again minus atmosphere we have 10PSI above atmosphere. Now take that 24.7 minus 21.7 and we have a 3 PSI difference. 10Psi isn't just 10 Psi when changing elevation. Spring pressure stays the same but they still lose boost and HP produced because of absolute pressure. This is because a wastegate's exhaust side is susceptible to atmospheric changes, the exhaust's are obviously open to the Atmosphere. I hope this helps you understand this better and why cars need and have a correction factor, even turbo.
