That's the best advice I've heard yet take it to a mechanic if you don't have the tools and don't know how to do it don't try it in your backyard take it to a mechanic that's the best advice you can give anybody

Mine were like that.. they were broke right above that thick washer.. still had enough thread was able to use just a flange lock nut and tighten down been almost 3 years no problem... I put a jack under transmission / transfer case Pull crossmember off trans/ transfer case pull drive shafts.. let Jack down slowly and had someone help watch clearances hoses and wires.. if I remember correctly the only thing I really worried about hitting was the fan into the radiator but to my surprise there was plenty of clearance....😉 Pulling the inner fenders also helps..

Yep. I've got the whistling exhaust gasket on my Expedition. Unfortunately it's an issue with the design, so even if you replace the manifolds, it's going to keep happening.

That's common problem with gmc Chevys they don't use stronger bolts just get a Toyota tundra v8 and convert the bed to flat bed

Those engines are a monster to work on. So much crap everywhere. My employer was so sick of repair cost they are making us all get gassers.

Anyone have a reference video on what this noise sounds like? My 2022 started making an interesting whistle type noise out of nowhere but turbo is still making plenty of boost and sounds fine otherwise.

Can you use high temp rtv with the gasket?

Do you replace them with hardened bolts? So it's less likely to happen again.

The back two are most common for breaking so Ford makes updated longer studs with longer spacers for the rear in order to prevent it from happening again.

Would that leak cause no turbo boost. I have 0 boost. I heard a noise, sounded like when you disconnect a air line from a compressor. And then I lost all boost. Noise was Not the loud boom from intercooler tube

As long as they keep selling without pushback they will keep cutting costs. More service work is only more money in their pocket. It only has to last the warranty period.
