I appreciate the panning/zoom product shots at the end to check the work. So many builds I see, do the build and don't let you check it out. Great work!

Thanks Nic , Jimmi , and Francis , eating ....what size is the frame ? And...I love the "tape and towel " band aid , dude ..been there
@jojoadeyemi8239 Жыл бұрын
Cause its seems like no one has figured out how to make a bandaid for your hands that actually stays on your hands while your, you know.. using your hands.

It would be cool if you and Francis would talk with the guy at Moss Bikes. It would be cool to see and hear from him about the three different types of bikes that he offers. The gravel bike looks super interesting.

Excellent to watch, love the music as well. But what a beautiful bike, in the hands of trusty house mechanic Nic it transforms. Love it!

Sweet ride. The chopped bars don’t make sense other than trying to cut weight and they are dropped back too far. Wouldn’t think they’d be comfortable like that

Beautiful bike and editing, balm for the soul. But doesn’t that internal routed rear derailleur cable on a steel frame course some inner corrosion with water and muck coming on the inside

Hi. Great video. Almost everything clear. would be even greater if it was explicitly stated what was subsituted with what and the weight before the rebuild started. Thank you

What's the name of the 80g saddle at the end? Where you'd get it from?
@LFMC1 Жыл бұрын
Those calipers really brake or they just slow down the bike? I dont think the Shimano levers have enought power to apply a correct modelation cuz normally that kind of calipers have strong springs.
@rphillips6461 Жыл бұрын
Gut the gear-changing mechanism on left sti-lever to save another 100g, perhaps? Or replace with brake lever with no sti-capability.

What music did you use? It reminds me of the game series Mass Effect...so spacey... like... out of this world...
@wigglyfruitcup Жыл бұрын
having to replace the left brifter with a sram s900 brake lever or a used left di2 ultegra/ dura ace would help shave some grams, too!

Are there any other types of air you could use to further lighten the bike? Like pure nitrogen, rather than the normal mixture we all breathe.

Great build. You could drop the weight much lower than that. CK headset is pretty but not light. USE stem- again beautiful machining but not the weight weenie. You could remove the gear shifting mechanism from the left shifter as the bike runs x1. There is an excess of bar tape for my liking and obviously choosing Ti hardware in certain places would be beneficial. But that's just me... Shhh... Great build. Love it!

Hi jimmi, love the build. Really stupid Q, who built the frame?

These 9 grams for the bar ends are the only thing I don’t understand… It looks ugly and even on a hill climb bike I probably ride longer downhills sometimes und prefer a comfy position in my drops…
