Nice video! I host 14 properties in Waco and the data does not lie. I've noticed the lower end and average properties are feeling the revenue drop the most. The brutal summer heat kept a lot of people away since most Waco tourist draws are outside. Also, other states have ended their covid restrictions so the red state vacation draw during the pandemic isn't there anymore. There are a lot of nicer hotels that are about to open up so I think there is the potential for it to get worse, especially for smaller places with not much to offer.

I suspect Joshua tree decrease has a lot to do with the writers and SAG strike. Also just because revPAR goes down, doesn't mean the market is a bad market.

The mistake that is killing Airbnb in cities around the world is allowing one owner or, one corp to own many many doors . Like everything , Greed kills opportunity. The STR platforms should have never allowed anyone being able to list more than 2 or 3 properties. So many people have taken advantage of this , it has backfired and now cities are fighting STR's as it has taken LTR 's off the market . People in larger towns / cities have nowhere to live SO NATURALLY city hall does a sweeping STR ban to save their towns . DUH . It does not take a rocket just to figure this one out. No one needs to own 7 to 100 STR doors ! own just 2 or 3 and improve your income but now youre making a million bucks for yourselves and to hell with the rest . UNTIL the laws make you lose it all and that includes the little guy trying to make a better life for his family !
