What do you guys say about starting short term rental’s in a market that doesn’t exist yet? It’s a promising spot in my opinion but there is really nothing happening as far as short term goes in this area. Thanks for considering my question!

How do y’all handle stays over a week…specifically regarding cleaning…I would want a cleaning to be completed so it’s a better experience for the guests and it makes it easier for me to complete the turnover for the next guest(s) if the place is cleaned … however I haven’t been hosting long enough to know how to best handle.

If you’re doing a mid term rental, it’s really up to you. You can clean once before they check and in and then clean a second time after they check out. Or, you can add a mid-stay clean if you’d like. Whatever makes you most comfortable!

@@TheRealEstateRobinsons perfect, thank you for the feedback. Super appreciate it!

@@TheRealEstateRobinsons perfect. The mid-clean is what I was curious about, which you answered 😁. I didn’t know if that would be awkward to bring it up as I really like giving my guests their privacy. You two are the best!

My Rental Agreement stipulates that all stays 14-nights or more are subject to a Mid-Stay Clean. However, this is not a full cleaning, nor does it cost more than half of the Out Clean. It typically includes the kitchen and bathrooms as well as a quick wipe down of surfaces in the common areas. I hope this helps.

You two are really fantastic! I am a grandfather and in the current environment it fills my hart with joy to see a successful young couple with an entrepreneurial mindset. The type of individuals that are great roll models for younger people like my granddaughters. I have one question. Are you having difficulty finding properties that cash flow in this current high interest rate environment? We have been in and out of the Real Estate investment market for many years and considering getting involved in the Short Term Market. . Thanks.

Show me an Short Term Rental AirBNB VRBO + and I will show you a Tax Cheat!. The Towns and FED now want their tax money and are forcing all STRs to be licensed. This is good IMO IMO. Make all short term rentals countrywide now get a license. If they rent by Craigslist without a license and the neighbor turns them in, a $5000 fine. As soon as they get paid for the rental, the Town automatically gets paid their 15% tax and the Fed gets paid their 15% tax. This would make for less STRs and only the honest ones would be willing to continue. The State and Fed get their Tax money that they want, and the city "then has more long term rentals" open. AirBNB VRBO have caused all the property values/rents to spike immensely and millennials locked out

Hi Tony and Sarah. Can you please do another review of Relay. I've had issues with them putting a hold on my account and they have restricted access to my account. I checked Trust Pilot and some people have been having the same or similar issue. Can you please address this issue. Thank you.
