I recently came across a new 'butter pat' tip. Use a potato peeler to shave thin slices off the end of the cold butter. Works like a charm! I love dump cakes, so I can't wait to try some of your recipes. (I make mine with home made cake mix, which allows me to switch out most of the sugar for stevia.)

All these recipes look fantastic! I enjoy baking from scratch, but now that I have gotten a little more "seasoned" I am very happy to have lots of "starts with a cake mix" desserts in my arsenal. They are quick, easy, delicious, and it's very difficult to mess up a cake mix. Great video!

Thanks so much for all the great new flavor ideas! I also like to make dump cakes, but I often make them in the slow cooker. It's SO NICE to start a dessert and not have to watch it too closely. How yummy they all look, Julia. I make the pumpkin pie dump cake quite often and have for years, but the rest of them are new to me and i can't wait to give them all a try. I love making new "Julia recipes" with my granddaughter 😊
