Thank you for reminding people to respond to customers. When I do social media posts with my band, I'll often give a lot of shout outs to other bands, but very few of them actually respond. The ones who do respond are the ones who seem to be a lot more social media-savvy.

Having the same presence on all platforms is a great tip! Great info
@ProfessorWolters5 жыл бұрын
It helps people from getting confused. I like helping people so that comes out in my travel videos and my education videos. It is just easier to be yourself in all your platforms than to put on a whole different persona, at least i think that way.

@@ProfessorWolters And keep reminding people of your mission and virtues. I've been too self-conscious to do this, but I see that you do it well and with good effect. Thanks for teaching by example, too.

@4:30 *_Be Social / Respond to Customers_* Yes and be responsible with your interactions. Easy to like and smile at positive comments but quite often one's true identity is revealed when trying to deal with negative ones. Many restaurant owners/managers are guilty of going overboard when responding to critical comments and actually drive away potential customers. I've avoided restaurants specifically based on harsh rants by the owner. Overwhelming positive reviews which had my initial interest but man, I'm not about to support an arsehole.

How is the old saying? If you want to see a man's true nature don't look at how they treat the people above them, but instead look at how they treat the people they feel are below them.

Great advice. I like how you said interact with your audience. It's fun to get info from the KZbinr, plus others comment as well. It becomes a great community. I also like how you've told me future plans like when I asked you about statistical software and analysis for primary data. I know we will get great videos like this and stuff for me to look forward to.
@ProfessorWolters5 жыл бұрын
Thanks OTBP. The stats packages and stuff are coming, but my plan is first the basics course, build that all up so any student or new entrepreneur can find a video that can help them. Then it is a more advanced series (that stats package would fit there) with more advanced topics, career help, soft skills, etc. Then when we have that filled up (most likely by end of next year) then we start taking on shorter mini courses, think an 8 video series on basics of investing, or doing your taxes, etc.

@@ProfessorWolters the channel is going in a great direction. It's great your going to talk about taxes and investing. I use investing to help pay for trips and am using it to pay for Japan. And of course retiring.

Ads I see on previous videos: Buy my SOCIAL MEDIA MASTERCLASS FOR SPECIAL PRICE OF $999 Mark: Gives better information away for free
@ProfessorWolters5 жыл бұрын
Yeah. I can't wait to see what ads pop up on our videos whenever this channel does get monetized. I know when I watch a few Profssor Woltesr videos in a row my next two days of youtube watching is just people trying to sell me their masterclass. I may do a class one day, but that is a ways off and would be way more advanced stuff, I think the princples shoudl be free so everyone can learn those.
