A few employers ago I was involved in helping develop our online presence (simply ensuring our clicks aligned with our successful bricks) and the buzz at that time was *_"stickiness"_* which is related to much of what you discussed here. Don't know if that term is still used. 😀 Even though this is rudimentary stuff to you, it's super interesting and eye-opening to laypeople like me. Another great video, Mark. 👍

Bounce rate is such a tough one! I have a blog post that has a very high response rate, because it answers one very specific question and then people leave. Still trying to figure out what to do with it.

Have an ad that loads right above and below the answer

Would websites that the screen is loading up and you're going to push next and it loads more and then you click on an ad instead and then you get off the ad's website immediately hurt the ad's chance of being seen on Google if someone else is actually searching for it but too many others click off immediately due to that website's loading mechanism? For example, I'm looking at places to go camping in Utah. I click on a site and it shows a campground I want to see. I go to click on it and the page loads more and I hit an ad for cruise ships. I click immediately off the page cause I'm not a fan of cruises. A bunch of people like me do the same. Would that make it harder for that cruise line to get views when people search for cruises? Is that something that companies that do ads consider?

Those are things ad companies do not like at all. It's a false click basically. Hence why you look at bounce rate
