The truths discussed in the video 1. Life is gonna punch you in the face at 24/26/28 years (once you get into real world after college). - Because you gotta take care of yourself, you are no longer under care of any institute or Guardians and do stuff all on your own. 2. Life is easier for attractive people. (Attraction Bias- People often asume attractive people as more intelligent, cunning, reliable etc.) 3. You don't know shit. - "The more you know, more you will realize that you know nothing" 4. You will never be enough. - "In other words there is always a bigger fish" 5. No one will save you. - You have to take responsibility of your situation or things happening to you and confront them on your own. 6. You are unlikable. - Not everyone likes you but some does. 7. All that matters is right now - Live in the present cuz' you don't know what might lie ahead and Past can't be changed :) . . . Extra - Not everything you see firsthand is true... sometimes you gotta find it out yourself. for example: Video title - 6 brutal truths... Video content - 7 brutal truths.

Hey Brett. I'm going through a tough breakup over a relationship of 2 and a half years and had to move back to my parents. I also just got cancelled last minute on a friend who I really could have used his company. I don't think I've ever felt so vulnerable but this video helps. Thanks man... I have goals for the end of this summer and you bet I'm going to keep my head down and grind

Hey Brett, I’m so behind on your videos because life is getting harder. I work from home now which is a big help but I think I’m three to four weeks behind on your videos and you have really helped over all ever since I started listening to you. I’m now on my own and like you said it can be a shocker if not ready because no one really explained and made sure one understood. I thank you for helping me even though I’m a stranger but to me you’re not a stranger. So Thank you Brett. Although behind I’m watching and listening.

Guess all that can be done is to try and learn from the setbacks and grow. We will come out stronger! Respect to all the kings out there going through though times! Keep your heads held high!

Great content as always, Brett as a 54 year-old successful software executive everything you’re outlining here is basically true. The one thing to add this is what you imagine you create. Meaning when you’re young. Imagine a great life for yourself whether a huge house cars money work for it. It’ll take a minute, but you will achieve it. So start imagining the life you want as early as you can work for it and you will have it. I built a goal binder in my mid 20’s cut out photos from magazines of mansions and cars and nice things and it all came true.

If you go to a factory job they're going to expect you want you and demand you to give it 100% 110 percent and just go balls to the wall but do not do that because once you hurt your back pull a muscle in your arm shoulder muscle spasm or something that place nine times out of 10 is not going to be there for you if your injury is going to take more than three or four weeks nine times out of 10 depending on the job and the owner and the managers or supervisors then you pretty much fired and you will be replaced because you and everyone else in the working world are a literally dime a dozen there's too many people out of work begging to take your spot standing in line waiting for one of you to get hurt die to quit out of anger or do something to get fired therefore someone else will take your spot 100% quick and that's if they decide to rehire somebody because they might just decide to give your job to someone else making their day even harder and leave it at that

U are very unlikable 😌😌😌 The whole video itself came like a gift from god but this sentence itself hits really hard to a way i found myself looking away of the video and smiling 😅😅 One thing to add, stop comparing urself to others, u actually will never be enough as Brett said I am a good looking , intelligent, charismatic guy but sometimes i see myself in a community that doesn't care and forget that there's actually people who likes me in this cruel world, just like the same community might appreciate someone u see him below u in such things! I feel like another brutal truth is you not that of a big deal you think you are. Like if you embarrassed yourself , no one cares enough to notice. Same thing if you famous. Sure at first glance it’s cool to meet someone famous but after the initial meeting, it’s like, alright whatever. Point is, we not that special as we think we are

@Billionaireben5 ай бұрын
At 26, you don't need healthcare (women go more often, but men rarely go.) There's no law saying you have to have all these bills at 26, if you can stay at home; do it and save, invest, etc. I gaurantee, some girl who also lives with her parents will say "omg, I can't date him; he lives with his parents." Just ignore that, you don't want a gold digger. As to looks, a hardened guy once said he wished he had my face; but I don't know if I'd be called classically good looking. I don't have a double chin, but I don't have a defined jaw either; I wouldn't get lipo of the chin or cheeks because I don't trust a surgeon with something so visible if it's not absolutely necessary. Brett has described male models as having a big nose, but their nose is normal and straight; if it was crooked (owen Wilson or 'roman nose') then maybe I'd get it worked on but I've seen lipo, nose job, tummy tuck; and the only one that's easy is lipo (I could do that, tummy tuck would be really hard and I could not do a nose job and wouldn't want to if I were a doctor.) BTW, great Bill and Ted reference 'So Crates.'
@benjaminpujols19145 ай бұрын
But that's assuming you have all those things and a job that helps you afford those things cuz when I got started I was screwed beyond recognition from the ages of 18 I didn't start working till 21 because finding a job was difficult and I've never worked before then of course my paychecks were so small that all I could afford to pay was barely my rent barely buy food and that's it no car no other bills simply because my check was literally under $300 a week back in the day

And yes you need health insurance and all that I don't have it right now anymore because I can't afford it where I work doesn't pay enough if I get health insurance right now I would have literally like 50 or $60 less on my check and I just can't afford that right now this whole thing people use the term life life hits you hard it's not really life it's people are the ones behind just because life is actually Fair life is actually beautiful life is actually perfect as unperfect as it is what really screws it up is not anything other than other people sometimes you're the problem sometimes you screw up but the majority of the reason why you screw up the majority of the reason why you have a hard time is because other people if bills were a little bit more understanding you'd have an easier time but when it's time to pay your electricity you're not paying life you're paying people

2. "Life is easier for attractive people." 2.1 Being good-looking is not an accomplishment. Grooming and other such aside, it's genetics. 2.2. Yeah, you're gorgeous in your 20's, but everybody ages. Over my 72+ years on this planet I've seen too many Stanley Stunnings who've relied on their looks to smooth out the bumps in their lives. You better cultivate other attributes because it doesn't last. Yeah, you may be lucky and age beautifully like a Cary Grant or Sean Connery, but they are very much the outliers. Even they weren't as decorative in their 60+'s as they were in their 30's.

And as far as like good-looking people goes yeah the majority of the time certain good-looking people have easier times as far as promotions go others just simply are popular because they look good and yummy but I was always pretty good-looking guy but I never really got much of an easy ride simply because I don't kiss ass and in order for you to really move up good looking or not you've got to kiss ass you got the bow down to the man and I'm not willing to do that I never was and I never will because unless it's in the bedroom I'm not bowing down to nobody but as far as work and stuff like that goes I want a promotion I want more money at what cost it already cost me a little bit of health in the form of hurt back from backbreaking jobs and giving it my all like I was taught which is a big mistake
