I'm 53 years old, been told for decades that I should model. Have the "classic" look, defined cheeks/hollow cheeks, prominent chin squared off with a cleft, wide jaw/defined jaw, full head of hair, almond shaped eyes, BUT, 5'10" tall...ripped body. Been told even at my age to do it, but never did, never felt that being under 6 feet would work. Plus, I have a career in the pharmaceutical industry, which pays well.

I have worked in advertising and selected models, so I know there are two types of fashion models. I would call one type the "Bruce Weber" look, like Brett. Classically handsome and buffed. Look at a Polo runway show and that's the type. The other is a quirky type - usually very skinny with unusual features. Know which type you are.

I would either suggest contacts or just lean into the glasses completely. Take a few people with you when you get new frames and ask for opinions or take pictures with a few different ones and post it and ask which one looks best
