Also Fr. Rob Galea!! 🙌🏻🎸🎶 Saw him live in Chicago. He has so much wonderful music and an amazing testimony. also Harpa Dei the singing siblings, I saw live here last year. They sing such a great variety of sacred music and so beautifully! I love the Congolese Ave Maria and Chinese Marian hymn! Also just discovered and love the music of Ola Gjeilo. Not sure if he’s Catholic but a whole lot of his music is. Love Dark Night of the Soul and many others- glorious, beautiful piano solos too

Theres a group called Harpa Dei that does gregorian chant. Theyre all blood siblings, all consecrated, and the music is unbelievably unique.

I liked their music a lot too but upon doing some research found that the founder of their community Agnes Dei (Herbert Grundberger) is a convicted child abuser and their community is a Catholic sect that is not recognized by ecclesiastic authorities. Bishop actually ordered to dissolve their community. Best to stay away from their influence.

Hi Father Mark, I heard Marie Miller sing for the first time with Joshua Carswell (Brother Joseph at the Benjamin Cello show for kids) a beautiful Christmas song. He's got one of the best tenor voices i've heard but he's not so popular I don't know why...he's very humble. Also the Annie Moses Band is very good, they sing religious music and they have the Show The Wonderful World of Benjamin Cello and a Christian School of Music for the Arts in Tennessee. Just wonderful Catholic musicians. Blessing Father Mark!

There is a lot of people who don’t know how to pray, or think they don’t. This music is incredible for that and to keep us in God’s presence and awe, all day long, every day. We need more. I know she’s taking a break from religion, but Audrey Assad’s voice and music is just beautiful. Try “I Shall Not Want,” VOCES8 sings classical music that will break open your heart. Their “Ubi Caritas”, by contemporary composer Ola Gjello, “the Deer’s Cry,” and “Miserere Mei,” are three I absolutely love. They move me closer to God with their heavenly harmonies.

Absolutely! At Mass this past Sunday, the Priest gave a Homily that we are all EUCHARISTIC Ministers because we carry Jesus in us when we meet others. Then for the Offertory hymn, the song “Earthen Vessels” was sung! It’s one of my favorites & followed the Homily perfectly!🙏🎶✝️🎶
