What is your hard drive set up? do you use external drives or a NAS for storage and back up? what do you have? do you like it? what would you most like to have if things were ideal? why? and Did you see that the new M4 McBook Pros have Thunderbolt 5? WOW! It Fast. I've only seen one SSD/NVMe external drive for sale, and they are expensive. The 4TB NVMe are getting within consumer range... that's nice. I made the largest file i've ever made a few days ago. 1.15 TB. It was a ProRes file to test the output. it took 18 hours to transfer the file to my other device. lol.

@ unfortunately no. It’s pretty limited in what it can do. It’s just a great tool for getting text in the background really fast. But if you need more control like transitions and animations behind what’s included, I’d stick with the traditional way of doing things.

Hey there! This is a common issue in FCP. You’ll need to “trash preferences” for FCP. This makes most plugins show up if they aren’t showing before. To do so, close FCP then press and hold CMD and Option at the same time and open FCP. Then follow the prompts. Just know you’ll need to reset any settings you had previously made like if you disabled background rendering, or changed your default keyboard shortcuts, etc. it’s a good idea to do this once in a while, as it flushes FCP and can solve a lot of smaller common bugs. Hope that helps!
