Cold therapy is not appropriate for all, neither is IF. The latter can actually slow metabolism way down and suppress the thyroid. Cold stress can elevate cortisol chronically. So choose wisely, for your own body.

@@Diana-mu9vd taking up MM a fighting or kickboxing can really help with that. Also falling down the stairs backwards it’s a good way to loosen up with the joints when you’re pregnant.

In the late '70s I lived with my grandmother while I was in high school. She would fast a few times a month and she would end each shower with 1-2 minutes of nothing but cold water. Truly ahead of her time!

@@darkoale3299 i am not saying genetics do not matter at all, of course it is an important aspect. but regardless of genetics, i am talking about over 10 years of working out consistently my dude. you can be a genetic beast, but that does not matter unless you actually put in the work. saying it is just genetics discredits her work. you're not going to keep your genetically awesome glutes if you sit all day. cheers!

The choices we make on a daily basis overall determine the quality of life we will have. In the last year and a half I’ve incorporated almost all of your tips. Two more things to pass on is plenty of sleep and water, along with loving the ones your with. When your at peace it’s protected out to all that you come in contact with.

You are a very impressive woman! You are strikingly beautiful, highly motivated, very knowledgeable and very kind to share your information. Also, I have been trying 16 hour fasting (other than drinking coffee in the morning) and I have had great results. I was 189 pounds at Christmas and I am at my goal weight of 172 and holding for the past 3 weeks. This also included cutting out all soft drinks, chips, candy and alcohol. Keep up the videos and good information! I appreciate what you are doing!

I've found the power of meditation recently too, I'm so much more able to handle specific situations I've not truly been able to choose how to handle ... but now the choices are in front of me.. it couldn't be simpler.. and cold showers, cold dips.. how hot to do you feel afterwards!! I love it!..

What was a gamechanger for me was to stop consuming any caffeine. I am way more calm, confident and relaxed than I was before and don’t get triggered by the small things like I did before. I have come to realize that caffeine is a drug that causes a lot of the daily drama in people’s lives because it always keeps people on a base load of stress.

i have a cup every so often and I'm fine. I'm an occasional coffee drinker and I drink a light roast, it has more good properties retained, rather than a more roasted coffee.

I do IF and exercise , and teach and play tennis (best sport for the brain is to learn to play non dominant hand tennis, which I started 11 years ago).Meditation, daily exercising, good nutrition/ no refine sugar, no alcohol , no smoking, no drugs etc..learn a foreign language , non dominant hand chores, and watch Stephen Jepson ..a retired art professor !!! Amazing!!! I treid Wim Hoffs breathing technique and looking for the winter to walk barefoot in the snow.I used to do MA even barefoot in the snow and snowing was coming down on the bear upper body in the evening. 💖 Perfection! You are my inspiration for how many years:), everything started after I bought zuzka power cardio dvd in Germany, I fell in love with it, the most amazing workouts to keep strong, active, healthy over in regular life, I made some modifications for now, 3 workouts in my maximum speed plus added some reps( 220 jump tucks, 120 squat jumps and so on). I'm Mom of 3 , had 2 cesarean sections, but very successfully, my body thanks regular intensive workouts.

subscribed!! its nice to find out i do 5 out of 6 of these(not the heat stress) lockdown worried me on the first week last year and i started meditating 40 mins then stretch 20 mins then run 20 mins, then cold bath then 10 mins of weights then hot bath all in that order, oh wow, i do all 6 of them, body and mind im a different person mentally more than anything and my back is stronger, great to find out that someone that looks that healthy is doing the same as me, AMAZING VIDEO

@@ricka0917 Basically, 5 specific yogic postures that are done in one sequence. However, the yogic postures are not held for time, but are movement based. Each rite or yogic postures starts at 3 repetitions each for the first week. Each week you add 2 repetitions. When you get to 21 repetitions you stop increasing the reps. The idea is that 21 repetitions of each movement done in a specific sequence strengthens and balances all the main chakras of the energy body.

Wow! Love you Z!! I've worked at Costco for a decade and during this pandemic I've been Intermittent fasting for over a year now and I feel Fantastic! I usually fast for 20 hrs and only have water, a cup of green tea or a cup of bone broth. I'm also in our cooler and freezer so I do get the cold stress technique for about an hour. Working here at Costco is an all day workout and before work I stretch for 30mins or more at home. Working at Costco is a Mind workout. Having to work with young co-workers and having to deal with Sooooo many different people every day is a Total Mind Activity No Doubt.

Yes please to a fasting video! I am up to a 14 hour fast many days a week and do HIIT workouts regularly, but have a hard time moving beyond that fasting window. I would love to hear how you fuel yourself to keep up with strenuous workouts and fast for that long.

This makes sense for me. I feel best when I work out hard early a.m sweating out hard, bathing in my cold creek, than work in the heat and humidity all day, drinking lots of water and good lunch. Bath in creek at the end.

Intermittent Fasting/TRE 16/8 keeps me in control & not just serving my appetite, also it's empowering not being hunger's servant, but it's Master.. also it feels great knowing that without the contant influx of food ..my body can use it's energy to clean up cellular junk & heal itself. The cherry-on-top is daily exercise because studies show that having a fit physique helps us achieve autophagy better & faster than those who aren't fit. 😎💯☺️

My partner does really well on IF , he feels sluggish eating more than that in a day. Me on the other hand, IF made me lose my appetite and I couldn't eat very much in one sitting and I lost too much weight. I feel my best with small breaks throughout the day.

Hi, Zuzka. I have taken all cold showers for years and they make me feel great. I learned in a magical book that the colder water is the greater is its accumulative capacity to wick off and out unwanted lingering effluvia, physical and psychic exhaust.
