My invitation MUST have been lost in the mail … 😏. Congratulations Gale & Crew . I have been running one of the first generation 6-gun Tuners & Speed loaders & Big head Waste gates on my ‘02 LB-7 since mid ‘03 when I bought my truck used . ALL those parts are still on the truck & have worked flawlessly now for 20 years through all sorts of weather & conditions & towing medium to heavy loads ( upwards of 15,000 lbs sometimes, over the weight rating of my early Duramax ) and without complaint . I’m a believer in his products and his commitment to making a great product that stands up to his company’s promises . I wish I could have come up today from San Diego to just shake your hand in person Gale , and congratulate your crew for doing all you have done all these decades . Much appreciated here . 😎👍

If there is one person I would like to meet and just chat with in general perhaps over an extended lunch It would be Gale Banks he is so knowledgeable so sharp, educated and most importantly even over the screen seems like the kind of person you would feel comfortable talking to about anything. If Gale reads this please dont take this in a bad way but to me you seem like a great Father figure and well I honestly appreciate you for who you are and what youve accomplished throughout the years in the Automotive industry. God bless you always and may the good Lord continue to bless you and your loved ones for many many Many years to come. Blessings from Kissimmee FL

Retired out of 33 years in aerospace. I was telling someone literally this morning that my list of heroes doesn't contain a single aerospace person: Horst Leitner, Gale Banks, Erik Buell. Gale is an engineer's engineer and anyone lucky enough to work with or for him should treasure every moment.

1997 I had a Banks system installed at Banks on my 460 Ford chassis Motorhome. I got more power and more MPG, part of the pkg. was a transmisson module that moved the shift points to a better point for a heavy vehicle. I never regretted the install.

Gale Banks is a True American Automotive Living Legend, and in my eyes, a National Treasure.!!! Oh, how I would give thanks, to spend a day with Gale Banks... I really wish someone would produce a quality biography on Gale, worthy of his name, his volume of work, and his contributions to the automotive industry. Or, someone (Hello... Barry Meguiar.!!!), PLEASE, get a multipart interview, allowing Gale to speak about his favorite moments in his career, intertwined with any, and all, of the amazing, related stories, that he must have hundreds of (if not thousands), before it's not possible.

I bought a Banks kit for my 93 Cummins in 95 and it's still on there and works. I like the fact that Gale does things without just throwing fuel at it. I've always believed that smoke out of a diesel is wasting fuel and potential power . I'd rather get good power and economy.

Would have loved to work for him and learn from him. He tests the hell out of everything. Not like other performance companies that slap bs desriptions on things that dont really work. He proved what i was thinking about when i was an apprentice mechanic. Those aluminum diff covers that expand capacity and supposedly cool diff fluid better were doin just what i thought back then. The internal shaping of them was just a big hollow pan. Instead of being shaped around the ring gear so it could pick up and throw the oil where it needs to to keep lubrication and cooling happening. The open pan aluminum ones dont have anything following the shape around the ring gear causing most of the fluid to fall off right above the resting fluid level. So he proved it. He made a Transparent cover copy of the standard design as well as the big aluminum one. And ran the diff speed up with vehicle on a lift and tested both designs. The big pan basically is killing your diff by stopping the oil from making it where it needs to go to keep everything lubed and cool. He had a video on it. Smart guy. Never stops thinkin.
