I have another great inexpensive way! You take any small bin or even a cubed shaped napkin box (which is what I use) and then a selfie stick and a phone. You wrap the handle of the selfie stick in a tshirt of towel then stick it in the bin/box and it will stand upright. From there, attatch your phone to the selfie stick and adjust the angle to an aeriel shot! Hope this helps.

Thank you SO MUCH for this! Your setups and explanations are so much more useful and "real world" than all of the "easy DIY setup!" tutorials that actually cost like, thousands of dollars. Also your art is so cute and beautiful!

I recommend drilling hooks into your ceiling and then suspending a wooden board down over your art with string however low you want it. Then drill a hole through for the camera lenses and now you have a perfect setup that is up and out of your way.

Very cool set up. I need to use better lights too, mine always come out so yellow.
@JelArts7 жыл бұрын
If your lights are yellow, try white balancing your camera (unless you're using a phone, some phone cameras can't white balance). I used to use many different temperatures of lights (2 warm and 1 cool, haha), but after white balancing, everything looks more natural on the camera screen.
@ScotCampbellwindowpainter7 жыл бұрын
Thanks. Yeah I was looking at my camcorder trying to figure it out, I need to take the time and make it work for best lighting.
