Tried the tailwind panniers on a 2023 Vado and my heel kept knocking the bottom front edge of the bag. After a few rounds around the parking lot I figured out that I didn’t hit them when I adjusted the angle of my heel. If you keep your foot flat and parallel to the ground, you’re more likely to get heel knipping. If you angle your tires down and heel up for a rotation, you are less likely too. Only asked to try the bags on the bike because I had read a review stating subverting similar. I wear 10.5 US and store employee had moved the bag as far back on the rack as he was able. If you can, try at a dealer’s before you commit.

OMG those are great accessories. I loved the baskets where could I buy them, I'm getting my new bike tomorrow so planning to go for my first ride on the weekend. 😍 As well I'm looking for a good helmet, I found xnito helmets and gear helmets, not sure which one would be a better option, any advice will be truly appreciated 🙏

Why was the front rack plate also not made MIK compatible? To use the MIK basket at front, you have to unscrew the rack plate which is time consuming.

For a start the accessories are not essential. Secondly do we need factory made and very expensive panniers and racks from specialized or can we go else where? Well! Specialized qouted me 300 euros for their own rear rack for my tero 3, I got an aftermarket one for 55 euros! Don't be fooled into the car style advertising. You are really not that dumb!!!

I agree. I mean, Specialized does great products, but they have become ridiculously expensive even out of racing and that doesn´t make much sense imo. Yesterday I went to a Specialized concept store and I saw the coolcave pannier (a plastic box) for 80€ and the cap for another 80€ !!. Don´t get me wrong, I think they can charge the prices they want as long as the customer is willing to pay, but I think this is becoming crazy 🤯
