Whenever I share from KZbin to FB, barely no one gets to see my video. When i upload directly to FB I get hundreds of views. And a lot of FB groups doesn’t allow you to promote your videos.

​@ThinkMediaTV why would you want to leave the ultimate truth for the end, I'm just genuinely asking. Most people don't wanna watch til the end but I get it, to keep the new viewers coming back. Honestly those are cool tips but they work on very rare and unique circumstances. If they worked so great I would be using them every day. I think the ultimate key here is to break the code on the daily on the changing algorithm and that's hard to do, the algorithm does what it wants, either shoots up impressions, sends your video to Google or does a mixture of both, sometimes it does nothing, you are out of luck if it doesn't pick you up. It's a competition. It helps when you are famous or when you are in a niche that people desperately need solutions with or both combined. 😅😅😅

I have a question for you? I have had this channel for a long time but I have rebranded 4 times. I finally found my niche but it's way different than the previous 3 that I was in. Since my channel in not new will the past hurt my channel. I know KZbin has been pushing out new content creators more, but mine is not new technically since I have had this channel for a long time. Also wondering if by being in a different niche now will the algorithm will be confused since I have been all over in the past?

Over time, as you continue to upload videos within your new niche, the algorithm will start to recognize this and push your content to the right audience. However, it might take some time to fully align, especially if your channel's history is diverse. While the transition may present some short-term challenges, consistency and quality in your new niche will help the algorithm adjust and start promoting your content to the right audience.

Not at all! I think the earlier stages of your channel development is probably the best time to test niches out and see which is best for you. The algorithm will eventually catch up to the kind of content youre posting as long as its consistent. The algorithm will also take to consideration who is interacting with your videos. What about short form vs long form? I know that when I post shorts I will get a lot of views fast, but posting new shorts kill all my other shorts and long form videos. I had 1 short getting 200+ views an hour and my next scheduled short came out and completely killed the other in an instant dropping it to 0 views. This has happened on almost all my videos so was wondering about that too

Great tips, I've been successfully using many of these for a while. My channel is DIY based and can have a broad variety of subjects. One area I have a lot of viewership is related to my RC aircraft hobby playlist. I frequent Facebook RC groups and provide a lot of good advice and technical support to show my commitment to the group and I can share videos further adding value to the members. I also get many good ideas for new videos as I track trends in questions members have. Your reputation will grow and it's always cool to come across a question someone posted and I go to answer it and find that someone already posted one of my videos. That's when you know you've made a positive influence to the group. I also see so many people join the groups and just start spamming their videos without proving their value and interest in supporting the members, only the self promotion and they do often get banned and the practice is frowned upon greatly.

I only get a small number of views because my content is so niche, but if I hadn't also posted my stuff to Reddit, I'd probably have closer to 0. Funny thing is, I also post to a Facebook group but I get very little traction there. Even though it's a group I've been in for ages - and I regularly post comments and images that are well-received - the members just don't seem to be that interested. Spending 2 seconds looking at an image meme is a lot less effort than spending 2 minutes watching a video meme so it's a much bigger ask of them, even if the content should be right up their street. Another big help was getting my video shared by another, bigger creator but that's much more luck-based. There's only two of us in this tiny niche and they liked my work so shared it to their 30k subs, I was so grateful. They did it on their own though, I didn't ask them to or pester them in any way.

That is not what happened in my case, mine was a mistaken case of wrong place, wrong time. Ive kinda marathoned a bunch of the videos on this channel over the past week. Ive planned on doing a combat sports youtube channel for over a year(MMA, kickboxing, Boxing, BJJ, traditional martial arts, etc). But i had a pretty significant injury(non martial arts related) that required emergency surgery and significant downtime. Im just able to start physically moving around with some limitations. Im done with giving myself excuses not to start! Im going to start walking as the beginning of my rehab. During those walks, Im going to start making videos chronicling my road back. Im 100% sure the video and editi g quality will be horrendously bad lol, but i think the information content will probably be at least ok! Thank you for the motivation! Im going to suggest that everyone in this. Comment section maybe subscribe to one another, and maybe watch each other's videos, so we can start on the ground floor and grow together! Im throwing some subs right now! Good luck to everyone! I hope to have a few videos out in the next week!
