I would say 3030, the equinox is very light. If you’re hunting in the water then the Excalibur 2 is the machine, gold vacuum cleaner

Now I got to ask you and it's not because you found all them rings with your CTX but do you really think that's a better machine than the equinox cuz apparently what I've been reading they say they're almost identical that there's not that much of a difference but 2ctx is a little bit more powerful and gets a little deeper all the beaches I've been going through their coins or no deeper than 6 to 12 in and I keep reading up that baby I should be looking in getting a PIV machine like your buddy James there has but anyhow you're a great guy thanks for taking the time to respond I want to bag up all these other machines and narrow it down to maybe two and I keep seeing these videos with the guy Terry Shannon and he's got that Sovereign GT I can't see in the video what size coil he's using but it seems to me that he really loves that machine and finds a lot of stuff I just bought one brand new on eBay and it shipped from France I couldn't believe it I pay the guy $800 for it brand new in the box so I want to try to duplicate what he has and see if that would be an Ultimate machine cuz I do have a meter for it to also if you take phone calls I would pay you money instead of you taking your valuable time and talkin to just everyone that be a pain in the you-know-what and you can go check out my dance company Phoebe Samba team Facebook you would probably enjoy that alright James thank you for all the great tips

Hey Hey great job on the Sovereign that’s another favorite of mine, I use one also with a NEL 12x13 coil. I highly suggest you check out my playlist I have a ton of videos on different detectors. The CTX is deeper on gold/silver rings, equinox is great for fast recovery plus it’s much lighter. Equinox is a dig it all machine, CTX has a much more accurate VDI for digging less trash. I like the GPS features in the CTX I can easily mark the hotspots on the beach and create a waypoint for the next day

Man that day was crazy, 6 hour hunt in all of my years hunting Redondo, I have never seen such a low collection spot. The CTX just vacuumed up that spot. I'm extremely sceptical about the amount of loot being"found" on the beaches by all the detectorist on youtube... Truthfully, the honest guys are actually finding pull tabs bottle caps and foil... With the occasional penny or quarter... Rarely do gold and silver rings, etc get dug.

I hear you I feel the same way about some of the larger channels. Most of my other vids show the trash digs. I found a spot on the beach that moved about 4’ of sand. When you see rocks in the scoop that’s where most of the fishing weights, rings, watches, gold, silver, etc...this would of been a 4 hour vid with all of the trash, every coin. I’ve been hunting this beach for 10 years, last year with the equinox pulled 8 gold rings out of a cut. I would say believe whatever you want, but on my channel I don’t see the need to post fake vids. most guys don't show everything they find many others, use detectors that are not efficient enough salt and black sand are difficult to cross special beach detectors are needed when you walk on a beach you are walk on gold .... I know a guy who made 76 gold rings / diving / in a day just be in the right place at the right time (preferably after a storm)

@@JJJAMES444 Machina/Diabolika - ocean beaches are different that any other kind of hunting. You never know what kind of day you are going to have. Depending on wind, waves and currents they naturally arrange heavy stuff and light stuff in different areas. I know guys who hunt ocean beaches and always stay in areas of light stuff (junk like pull tabs, fishing lures, etc). But when you find lead weights, heavier coins, rocks you are in a good area and if the beach has rings this is where they will be concentrated. Conditions can change daily and hourly. James just hit a good spot and worked it well. Never leave one of those spots.

Depends on shape and and size, gold comes in normally from 12:01-12:29. That’s for the low trash setting, ground coin and ferrous coin will vary
