Hands down the Pittsburgh 10 PC diamond grit needle file set! I haven't ran into a different tool that changed everything I do as a bowyer. These completely changed the finished look of the bows and arrows. It costs 7$ at my harbor freight. They never wear out and you save a ton on sandpaper. Simply amazing

I've been back and forth for years about whether I would use one of those swivel ratchets. My son likes to play with the ratchets at tool stores and asked if he could see the 1/4". When he finished I decided not to put it back and it came in handy the first time I used it.

My favorite and most used item from Harbor Freight is their 24' X 36" polypropylene service cart made by Haul-Master. I have had it about 8 years now. I use it daily. I am a heavy truck mechanic and it has held up very well. You can work on parts(even heavy parts) you remove from the truck without worrying about beating up and denting your roll cart lid. It also has a lip around the side that will keep bolts, screws and small parts from rolling off of it. The wheels are large so it is easy to roll around.

The roll cart is great, i have one for work. I also love the quinn sockets, they're great quality for the price. The earthquake stubby impact is an invaluable time saver if you're a technician.

I have Snap On tools and love them, but I just can't justify.$ 300.00 for a socket set. Prices were hi back in the day, but not like they are now. So many others good brands at half the price. Even SK is up there now. My HF favorites... my floor jack and Pittsburgh comfort grip ratchets. No complaints whatsoever.

My go to 3/8 ratchet is also the HF swivel, I’ve used the same one 6 days a week for the last 12 years now and never had any issues with it

Personally, I think the Hercules line can go toe to toe with just about any tool maker including DeWalt and Milwaukee . So far I have only bought the Hercules grinder, but that thing can run for a very long time without heating up. I think the Hercules compound miter saw is one of the best currently on the market. I plan to get one soon, just to have one! What is nice about that saw is that you can use it for up to a year and you can take it back for any reason, and HF will give you your money back. Now that is really having confidence in your product. I hate when people (tool snobs) rag on Harbor Freight. They make some really good tools, especially for woodworkers on a budget.

HF has good weather tarps, zip ties and their 2 dollar Hardy work gloves are awsome. I have owned their 60 dollar 18v impact driver for 3 years now used daily and has been superb.

You can't be a real mechanic who use those tools 8 or more hours a day all day long I know kids coming into the hvac trade with hf tools because it was all they could afford and those impacts lasted two to three months top before the motors burned out tell me how much harbor freight is paying you to sell their cheap China made crap

I've got Harbor Freight Tools from 20 and 30 years ago and they still work perfectly fine I have no problem with anything from Harbor Freight I do realize that there are cheap made things there that are not as good quality but you get what you pay for as for people saying that professional mechanics don't shop at Harbor Freight that's bullshit. thanks for this video man it was really cool I like the tools that you showed and I might have to go check them out at Harbor Freight there are some channels on KZbin that don't use the Harbor Freight name in their videos instead they use terms like the bargain tool store which I find ridiculous and I don't watch those channels for that reason

Thank you for your video. KZbin seems to be filled with "my favorite HF tools" videos but I appreciate that your recommendation was accurate and unbiased. I try to not stay in HF too long as I end up filling my cart, but I have never realized that they have the lug nut socket! I think I will go get the lug nut socket based on your video. My wife's suv is 21mm and my car is 19mm. I am always looking for the sockets and I have to check either my impact wrench, breaker bar, etc... I got my dad's 4 year old(then) 1982 craftsman ratchet set (round handle) when he passed away. Being a 10 year old, I lost most of the pieces except two wrenches and some sockets. They are still fully functional as if they were new. I bought a set of craftsman ratchets in 2001 (newer design) and they are still perfect. I feel like the HF ratchets seem to be similar in quality to the craftsmans. I have a set of HF ratchets that I got as my "junk" tool, and after using the 1/2" ratchet with really long breaker bar to crack nuts that I couldn't even with impact wrench over and over, I am a total HF convert. I used to make the 1.5 hour round trip to the HF, and one of the happiest day if my life was when I saw a banner that said, "harbor freight comming soon"! I posted the photo of that banner on my Facebook page and people either agreed with my excitement ke asked, "what is it"? That's when you know who is your true friend...

Variable speed Oscillating multifunction power tool. I just enjoy using tools. I used these for 12 hours, replacing the panel on my garage door and I feel it was just one of my favorite tools in my collection of tools from Harbor Freight. Cutting, peeling, and sanding the garage door. After watching your video, I went out to Harbor Freight and pick up the 3/8 drive swivel head ratchet. Plus the LED Shop Light. For the price you're getting stuff for from harbor freight you can't really call any of it junk a lot of it is a disposable expendable replaceable whatever you want to call it but I'd say 90% of the time you're going to get your money's worth out of that tool!

You have the very same exact thinking and logic as I do. I've said that for ages. Having an uncle that's basically NEVER used gloves in his life and seeing that his hands are like the rock character from The Fantastic Four I decided I would ALWAYS use gloves!😂🤣 Not only that, but read the back of most of these bottles/containers and check out that nice little cancer warning label. That's more than enough to get me using more ways to keep myself better protected. But it's good to hear that someone else has the same thinking that I do. 👍👍👍

I really like those 9mil gloves. They hold up really well, even when digging up sprinklers (which tears up all the other gloves I've ever tried). And with a little practice you can get almost as good handling nuts and bolts with them on as without, although I admit to occasionally taking them off for especially tricky stuff (after I drop the stinkin' nut twice, for example).

When it comes to gloves I love them and usually have a variety for different applications. I love the nitrile 7 mil and are my favorite. I like latex gloves for quick small jobs. I always have mechanic gloves too when you need more protection.

Electric impact wrench and my breaker bar are probably my favorite tools from HF. Right now I'm in the middle of home renovations and find myself at HF a couple times a week. I just picked up the 3 gallon pancake compressor for $45 and it's a steal if a deal because after my home improvements are done I still have a compressor for inflating tires or blowing the dust off in my garage!

Pancake compressor shines for staplers, trim nail guns. I prefer bigger, dedicated compressor (20+ gallons) in garage. Cost is almost 10 time more what you paid though. Pancake compressor is certainly a good starting point and plenty of use for it.

I work at a very high volume dealership every day as a tire and lube tech I use a lot of there tools ratchets impact sockets and I use there 1/2 dr breaker bar and 3/4 dr breaker bar all the time you cant beat the price and if it brakes i take it back for a new replacement free of charge. i also use there gloves work gloves and the blue type in the video. i have 2 of there jacks there black metal ramps and there jack stands and wheel chocks as well. you were talking about the re flip sockets i have a few sets of theres I have there new work lights and they are very bright check them out there are 3 other techs in my shop who have them as well

Get the Taiwan impact sockets. My dad has used his 10 yrs straight daily and NEVER an issue. Pretty impressive for 20 bucks. Impact extensions as well. The torx and hex bits are some more. Made out of s2 steel. I love harbor freight for lots of stuff especially consumables. Cut off wheels etc. I’ve had the el cheapo angle grinder for 4-5 yrs now I can not kill it you name it I’ve cut it.

Their ball joint service set saved me $1000 bucks on both my car and truck when the ball joints failed on both. The set was $65, and another $60 for the adapter set.

Hands down, their low-cost (or occasionally free with coupon) multimeter is amazing. When I had to make equipment startups in other countries, I'd leave a meter or two with the technicians at the customer's facility, as many of them couldn't afford test equipment. Some of those guys looked like I gave them the keys to a new car. And the meters are usually within a few percentage of accuracy to more expensive ones, perfectly serviceable for most electrical tests.

I love Harbor Freight. It's perfect for people like me who just play around with cars and wood working projects occasionally. I probably wouldnt use their low priced products if I worked on cars professionally. But they are great for the occasional hobby work guys

I agree about the Drill Master power tools but I have to admit I have their $10 angle grinder and its held up way better than I expected - but I don't abuse my tools either. As far as the flip sockets, you're only missing one size, the 13/16". The other side of the socket is 3/4" which is basically 19mm.

i've had their 10 dollar angle grinder for over 10 years, cracked the case probably 7 years ago, has had gorilla tape holding together ever since, still grinds away without any problems.

I own 3 of the 12" compound miter saw as I have used one for 7 years now almost daily cutting pvc pipe. We have made and sold over 11 thousand bell siphons for Aquaponics and shipped them worldwide so I have to always have a spare. I discovered there are 3 models of the same saw. The first model was pretty good. The second model was improvements like larger bearings at the blade and the third model was obviously "how can we save $ and go cheaper". Once I figured that out I purchased a complete spare of model number 2 and returned model 3 in exchange for model 2 which is still in the box for at least 2 years now. Lesson learned was that model number makes a huge difference even tho they still sell all 3 models and unless you know the difference it is a crap shoot as to which you will get. I also replace the bearings at about the 6 month mark with high quality bearings and then I never have to repair the saw in years now. I love the features like dado stops that $600 saws don't have. I have looked believe me. I made about $800 profit just this past weekend with this $125 saw. Hard to beat BUT buyer beware. Also HF's $16 drill makes the best drywall screw gun I have ever used. My $200 drywall gun stays in the drawer now and my Milwaukee drills are at least 3 times the weight and way more powerful than needed for drywall screws. I plan on having Batteries Plus rebuild the battery packs with the best cells. I own 4 of these great little drills and only killed one so far. Whew that was a mouthful. Hope it helped.

im a long time sk tool user, but i haveta say harbor freights got some decent stuff... my personal favorite has to be the Pittsburgh 25" Breaker Bar ...dang near bulletproof & probably my favorite thing from hf in my arsenal... ive got 4 or 5 of em, keep one in every car (along with that lug nut socket set u showed in the vid) & one for the garage ...for only 20 bucks each ($15 if u catch it on sale) u just cant beat it! enjoyed the video dude, thanx & god bless

Harbor Freight is awesome. I needed a 3/8" Torque Wrench and at about 1/3 the cost of anywhere else, it worked perfectly. I have bought a lot of tools that I only needed to use once. I also have one of their motorcycle lifts. I have huge cruiser and it works perfectly lifting it up. I have had great success with the Pittsburgh flat/ring spanners. Not a single issue.

Freddy the #1 is also good for garden work. Tomato plants for example. I use it for putting liquid fertilizer on plants, flowers, and even trees.... Works great.

I work as a diesel mechanic at the RR and alot of guys picked up that tool box and they used them daily and there the best bang for your buck. Most of the guys took off the casters and made a square rack out of angle iron to set the box on then put bigger better casters on the bottom of the rack. Awesome tool box!

The diamond hole saw set. Drilled 36 holes through 1920 plaster and lathe that was comparable to cement to blow in insulation. Still is sharp and went through that plaster with not much effort.

I'm a DIY weekend tinkerer. I wouldn't recommend much from HF for commercial use but for the weekend garage guy they have some really good products for the money. I've purchased: Jacks - Car and Motorcycle Jack stands Sockets \ ratchets - especially the 1/4" which do not see a lot of stress. Wrenches 1/2" electric impact. Works great on lug nuts Zip ties Gloves Electrical connectors A 3 gallon air compressor for $39 that lasted 6 years until a crackhead stole it. Probably still working. A 21 gallon compressor for $149 that is going on 4 years old Lots of zip ties, A $19 angle grinder - not very powerful but good enough. A $19 roto tool that paid for itself the first time I used it. Creeper I've been very happy with everything above except the 7 mil gloves. They rip like paper but maybe I expect too much from them. Thanks for the video. Going to pick up that spray washer on my next trip.

Agree on the swivel heads. Love the 1/4". I maintain machines at a country club and find the swivel acts like a nut driver in small engine work. Great if you have a break down several acres away from the shop.

Going on 10 years on HF impact socket sets, deadblow hammer, crow bar set, misc organization items, pulleys used regularly. Bought several tools that didn’t last that long but considering how cheap they cost I can’t complain. Bought several specialty type tools that didn’t last long but I only occasionally used them. $25 HF used 2-3 times vs $500 Snapon used 2-3 times is a shade tree mechanic secret weapon.

Thank you I appreciate your review. I do DIY projects and am not a full-time mechanic or contractor. It's hard to justify paying contractor grade prices for tools when I use them infrequently. I've had good luck at pawn shops for tired contractor tools too.

I have numerous HF tools in my garage box and my travel box. Latest addition was the tie rod end puller. Normally $27, but with a 25% off coupon......used it with my latest project, a BMW rebuild. Only tool issue I have had is a 3/8 breaker bar, tip broke off, took it back and have had it for years.

One more HF tool that saved my butt when my Chraftsman 1/2" impact wouldn't budge my Cummins Ram axle nuts is HF's 3/4" impact at $60. It broke them loose in about 1/2 second. Such a deal. Saved me a fortune👍😎👌

I love Harbor Freight, but I wish the one thing they would come out with is a 24” portable metal tool box with pull out drawers instead out the lift out trays. I have to say that Harbor Freight has always treated me very well. My only complaint is that I bought a Viking battery maintainer and it seems to overcharge the batteries until it calms itself down. For the Do it yourselfer, Harbor Freight is a great place. Their quality over the last 10 years has improved tremendously.

The 7mil gloves are good. I only use the black 9mil gloves when the temps are not blistering hot like these TX summers but they do last quite a bit longer. I've noticed that all gloves tend to rip easier the more you use them. It seems that they thin out. That said, I wipe, wash, or clean my gloves and reuse them and they last me forever. When one rips I replace it. I also have the "diamond" gloves and I like them a lot. I feel that their design helps me to grip things better. Good stuff!

I have one of their four and a half inch angle grinders from harbor freight I believe it's Chicago electric or whatever that is I've had it for about 4 years 5 years and it still works like brand new but I don't use it on an everyday basis either

i like their Breaker Bars ,Impact Sockets, Hydraulic Jacks ,and JackStands i am a hobby Mechanic for the most part and now a retired Woodworker, some of their Pneumatic nail guns have been good values for the price which i mainly use as backups or in rare occasions for one or two Specialty nailers Professionally i always used Senco brand nailers mostly because of my excellent local rep who offered great service and fast repair work if it was needed and often he could or would provide loaners to use if we were inthe middle of a job the Harbor Freight ones are not built sturdy enough for full time use and i buy those mostly for light use inmy home shop because of their affordability a hobby of mine is sewing Automotive interiors and Marine Canvas and i own a couple of Harbor Freight Stapelers for that work they work great i like your picks and i do plan on having more of a Auto repair and maintenance shop inmy next location at the moment due to a illness i’m between homes and shops
