I save my bacon fat. it lasts forever and it's good for so many things like cooking eggs or I will soak toast in it and leave it out for the birds in winter. they love it!

My mom would mix peanut butter, rendered beef fat, cornmeal salt and flour, cook a little then she would stick it to a tree and the woodpeckers loved that because they like to climb vertically and they look for bugs on the bark. Then the momma woodpecker brought her baby to that spot lol.

@@lookcatchu it’s a seasonal thing now! They’ve have this in the menu for years but apparently they’ve started to diversify our menu to fit our own cultures. It rolls around a few times in a year now, but props to your research I don’t have to wait anymore lol!
