Dunwich Legacy is THE campaign for Calvin Wright. He is built to flex, and the survivor cardpool has some neat niche cards that can really help in this campaign, like Alter Fate and Devil's Luck (IYKYK).

Enjoy this topic as going into my 3rd campaign. Keep this type of content going. I would love to see other classes included if possible.

Winifred is clearly the best investigator for Dunwich. She only has 1 willpower, but that doesn't really matter, she has agility to make up for it. Plus she goes through her deck multiple times per scenario, which is really good against the encounter sets that discard cards from your deck.
@rognin56035 күн бұрын
And if you enjoy your playthrough with Winifred, you should also try Patrice in the same campaign! Especially if you're just starting out, she's a really beginner friendly character!
@ethanlivemere11625 күн бұрын
@rognin5603 You should also try to combine the skill-heavy playstyle of Wini with investigators that are heavy on assets (Bob) or events (Nat Cho). That way, when that treachery comes where you have to discard all cards of one type, there will always be someone who is not completely screwed!

Just a note there are encounter cards that punish you heavily if you go through your deck, that's why it makes you discard...

Winifred for Dunwich? Way to enable some of the worst mythos effects…

Agnes with Pete (2) and ways to take horror lighning bold (forbidden knowledge, painkillers) makes her easily the strongest in dunwich. Flex with your spells and you can singlehandedly take all enemis for 2p while still flexing overall edit: forgot to mention: Pete (2) is here to make her weakness an asset if drawn mid-scenario or alternatively for some turns. Also he can take horror when you don't need to deal damage

A good brain score is helpful, but ultimately just worth a few xp late in the campaign. You *need* someone with a good book score. You will straight up lose the campaign if you can't investigate without Rite of Seeking or Lockpicks.

Hmm... considering for a 4 player game - only 3 archetypes here though. So, maybe Agnes (Mystic), Vincent (Seeker), but which 2 guardians? Leo and Mark, perhaps? Or maybe swap one out for Daniela (as a proxy Survivor)

@@halforange1 FFG's products that have been out of print for years have continued to be in stores even to this day, I think this is going to remain relevant for a year or two at least. (Not to mention digital playthroughs of Dunwich will definitely still be a thing.)

What news??
@Worksy4 күн бұрын
@@lukeleslie9648think they're referencing the fact that, given the number of expansions, they've stated that to keep the game going they will start only reprinting products from the last 3 years or so, so older cycles will be going out of print (Dunwich obviously being the first full campaign so will be one of the first to go).
