As a BYU fan it was hard to watch us fall apart so hard at the end, especially since they played so well 90% off the game. Props to ISU though, they fought for that win

BYU would be a dangerous team in the Big 12 in coming years. As for the Cyclones, great, gritty win but the inconsistent offense is a concern. They should not have been behind by that much - if BYU could clamp them down a bit, it would be a home loss. ISU needs to get better on offense to go far in the tourney.

Both great teams playing, but I do have to say the refs made last minute mistakes that gave Iowa a questionable victory.

Not gonna disagree, though nothing will come close to that Baylor game. My god, if that wasn't the worst officiating I've ever seen in a college basketball game ever, and I'm an ISU fan. Shouldn't have been as close as it was.

As a big Iowa state fan, I do admit those last 5 minutes the refs were totally on our team 😂, like we played great and made a fair comeback but I’d be stupid to say we deserved a couple of those free throws while BYU didn’t. Overall great and fun game to watch, good fight cougs!!

Good win for ISU. I'm glad they won, but BYU played well till late in the game. They have a good team that is a welcome addition to the Big 12....I say good riddance to Texas and Oklahoma!

BYU literally handed that game to Iowa State. Players deserve blame but I think the biggest slice goes to Coach Pope. Made some questionable personnel calls late like keeping Traore in for so long when he does nothing for us offensively.

Treore was the only thing keeping their guards from getting down hill and getting to the rim. On many match ups we will be forced to keep Treore in because he is our helpside rim protector. Waterman gets blocks but not usually on helpside. Usually on his own man

I just feel like with a 14 point lead, that move to play him more (and I get his defensive upside) moved us from trying to win to trying not to lose. Waterman's problem wasn't on the defensive side of the ball last night.@@NathanDenney-jb3om
