Honestly if Blackpink disbands I might leave k-pop entirely because their music has impacted so much that I have gained my confidence back. From childhood I was very afraid to raise my voice and I was so silent and people used it as an advantage to bully and use me. Unfortunately I was not confident enough to stand up for myself and I hated myself and people called me ugly and stuff. I don’t think blackpink would ever have a member leave. I think how YG has made blackpink and given them all names form themselves has been amazing. They all do solo activities, are brand ambassadors and have their own things going one. Also the solos. Jennie and Rosé both had solos and Jisoo and Lisa will have theirs soon. But their all still a group and have really strong bonds together. They use their popularity as a group to make names for themselves and grow the groups popularity. I think it’s a very important thing. A lot of times when idol groups disband everyone in the group becomes irrelevant. But blackpink have made names for themselves as individuals. So when they disband they won’t be forgotten as individuals. Most of the time when a member leaves their group it’s to make a name for themselves. in the case of mamamoo in particular i dont think the reasons that theyve had successful solo careers will be enough for them to leave because last year all four members proved that they can have these successful solo careers but still do group activities. moonbyul had the highest album sales last year (more than solar, and solar had more than hwasa) and had her own solo concert unlike the others, and solar won her first music show award only within 5 days of her debut. at the end of the year though they still came back and won a few bonsangs at that.

Lisa has not been neglected by yg for years lol she was the FIRST one to be allowed to have a KZbin channel even tho the other girls wanted to as well like they have to be approved to do that and she did years ago lol . Idols want to leave the group because he/she wants to have more on their careers. Most of the time ending a contract is up to the company and not the artists. I mean look at how dirty YG did 2NE1. YG disbanded 2NE1 when they were at the peak of their career. Right before they disbanded they were literally in America working with famous producers & song writers. Out of all blackpink members, Jennie in my opinion has the highest chance of not renewing her contract. In does sadden me to say this because I’ve always been such a huge fan of blackpink and a blink since early 2018 and she’s my bias but at the same time Jennie has always gotten so much hate for literally anything she’s done for the past 3 years! I really don’t think she’d put herself through that again.
