this seems like a hard list to make since monks a class that basically needs no weapons and cant use armors they need a lot of homebrew help

The wraps are what I have used on my monk. Only difference is that we also gave them a +1d6 damage of basic elements,ex :fire,cold,lightning, or thunder damage

I love this series and as I'm running alow leven campaign right now this is incredibly helpful. Will you also make a list of cool low level items for your party in general, no matter what class? Also I would love to see suggestions for higher levels in future. In any case, great content, keep it up!

Hey! First off, commenting for the algorithm. Secondly: I really liked your rogue video. Great, thematic suggestions. I've watched the barbarian one too, which honestly wasn't that interesting, but no issues. And now this one. It had a good start, but these last two recommendations were very lackluster. I mean, you even broke your own rule man! While monks are really weak, they aren't that bad until level 5, so I don't think the two weapon recommendations were warranted. Hope you don't take my feedback the wrong way. I really like the premise of the series and look forward to more, really thematic suggestions, where you follow the very good ground rules you lay out.

As a monk fan, I feel like a lot of people don't give monk credit for its strengths. I think the real issue is that the core idea of monk doesn't lend itself to incorporating most of the magic items available in 5e. Monks are about training their body and soul to be their weapon, not relying on items or anything to get by. It became a running joke in my campaign that my character could never be disarmed by the town guards. But I think that some people look at the lower damage numbers when compared to other classes and think they are weak. I think they limit your ki pool too much and didn't make a lot of items that synergize well, but my most recent monk benefitted the group a lot by being super fast and able to stun significant enemies, contributing a lot where it counted. They are also very good at exploring and can do a really good job at stealthy recon if built right. I think they should have their ki pool fixed, but I really don't understand the monk hate. Especially since half the complaints are about how underpowered the class is and the other half are about how broken the class is.

Don't take it has hate toward the class it is actually my favorite all the way back since 3rd edition. Mechanically it just suffers. I am so excited for the upcoming changes!

@@beepboop7760 It's fine to be against AI art for ideological reasons, but to say it's bad or ugly is just wrong. I think it allows a lot of people, who otherwise wouldn't even consider touching art, to make a good product.
