I don’t really care for DUB, but hey if you do, the whole cast have an optional English dub. Yes, even Under Night. If any of you are looking forward to this game, go ahead and buy it. This game needs a lot of visual polish, for sure. I've never played these series separately, but the cross team thing looks like a great concept. But those sprites look like they're not in the same resolution as the background, nor each other. Definitely should rework those. The battle UI is also quite bland.

tbh it looks like the old capcom vs games where they just took the sprites from the games they were originally from regardless of style and slapped them together in one game (back then things like the darkstalkers characters stood out; here the diff sprite styles do).

SPONGCHAO its hard to tell by watching this on my phone but i think they have improved the sprites and backgrounds. Under night in births graphics on ps4 looked like a handheld game, they look better here but the stages still dont look so hot

I don't know if damage seems too high, or health is too low, but this game is going to have some fast as hell rounds if the Weiss/13 game is anything to go by. Surprised it's only 1 round too. All sets will be 3 outta 5 in tourneys if it stays this way, imo. (Granted the other team did try to block with their face, but still)

It looks like there's still work to be done, but this looks fun. I was NOT into the DLC announcements so early, but $20 extra for almost 20 more characters sounds good to me to be honest. Fingers crossed for this addition to fighting games and for this to be a platform to keep adding characters.

Berserkscarlett $20 extra for 18 characters now. Blake and Yang are free dlc and you can get the first dlc pack for free if you get the game within 2 weeks of release. So that's technically 5 free dlc characters and they'll probably do something like that for future dlc. So Its not as bad as the initial announcement

Thomas Modaff I'd agree with you if the game was full price, but it's not. Most fighting games actually make dlc a standard because it helps pay for devolpment and balance patches, which I'm all for. Anime fighters have it incredibly rough because they can't crank out easy add-ons like costumes and such yet get stuck having to make due with launch profits along to continue adding content to the game. So as far as I'm concerned, if arksys wants a couple extra bucks to keep making good games I'm willing to pay. It beats the hell out of microtransactions.
