6 month motorcycle trip through Central Asia - Episode 10 Pamir

This is the tenth episode of our series of our long-term motorcycle adventure through Central Asia. After we had an accident in Iran in 2018 and could not drive our planned route, this is our second attempt for this motorcycle trip. In this episode you see Tajikistan. We are going to make several videos about Tajikistan. In this video we drive from Dushanbe on the north route of the Pamir Highway to Kalaykum and then along the Afghan border to Rushan where the junction to the Bartang Valley is. The three of us leave Dushanbe. Ajay, an Indian motorcyclist from Germany, wants to drive the northern route of the Pamir Highway with us. In Kalaykum we meet Oliver with whom we will go together for several weeks. The next video takes us to the very secluded Bartang Valley. We were there for three days and it was an absolute highlight. It remains exciting in any case.
We drive two Husqvarna TR650 Terras and had six months for the tour. The start was on May 1st, 2019 and we were back home in mid-October. We drove a total of 36,000km and collected almost two TB of data in 13 countries. We will create at least one video for each country.
