Great review. Really enjoyed watching it. You nailed it by emphasizing its 'basic' character. I have bought Topstone 4 exactly for the same reason - to have a capable bikepacking machine wich every dimension and thread being an industry standard. Leaving a comment to feed the algorithm and help you grow. Keep on going!

Pretty straight forward critique.. I've tried the Topstone 2 recently. Great brakes and good shifting. But i too was left abot disappointed with the saddle, wheels, and where we differ the handlebars. But the frame joints are finished so much better than a Salsa Journier i also tried out.

Nice review man. I have the LTD version and live up in Indy. I agree... the frame is heavey but I love the geo and capabilities. Over the last six months, I've changed out the saddle, tires, and bartape. See out there. Cheers!

Thanks for the review, I'm keen on Cannondale for my first gravel ride. Good content.

thanks for the review! Have you seen the Topstone 2s in person? I am choosing between Midnight Blue and Olive Green, and I'm afraid that the midnight blue is just gonna look like black.

The blue is really nice! It’s a deep blue and doesn’t really look black in the sun. Maybe at dusk/dawn.

Did you have to deal with the FSA crankset recall?
@dannyghalayini2 ай бұрын
Nope. Cannondale sent mine with the GRX crank. I know a lot of the topstones do come with the FSA crank though. Not quite sure how I got one with GRX

Can we go touring with it ,with full rack, bag configuration?

Totally. It’s got all the mounts you would need for that kind of stuff.
