The best deal right now is at Costco. I just bought my X4 for $429. It came with two batteries, 256gb sd card, and selfie stick. I love the X4! There’s definitely a jump in quality over the X3, which is still a great camera.

Loving my X4 that I got recently. My 5th 360 camera & the best yet. The 8K reframed footage looks really nice on a 4K monitor. The colors really pop. I just have to be prepared to deal with the gigabytes of footage & have a system & the storage to deal with it.

Biggest thing one can do to have video quality better is use computer insta360 software to edit save and upload compared to using phone. Convenience vs highest resolution and quality. Phone is still good tho

I enjoy vlogging with the Insta360 X4 but my gripe is how fast you can smudge the lens and how bad it shows on the videos .

Love the 360 cams, i got rid of my x3 but would love to get the x4, the quality increase is so vital. X3 a bit lacking but x4 looks alot more capable.

just bought it yesterday at COSTCO and haven't open it yet. wonder if its still worth the value compared to ace pro? plan to mostly use it on hiking and paddle boarding.

They both have their place when shooting. The acepro is great for capturing and documenting everything. 360 camera are great for situational shots like I showed in the video. Check out my other 360 videos.

What's the focus range of this camera? If I wanna stuff this camera into a confined space, how close can the surfaces be to the camera before it becomes a problem?

Can you share the settings used to record the interior car footage. It looks so crisp 💯. Im assuming you exported the video on the desktop.

No complaints with mine, except those premium glass lens protectors. They cause so much lens flare and distortion. The standard protectors it comes with is much better.

Do you think x5 will come out before May of next year? I’m traveling in May and am looking at either GoPro or the 360. Why? Sunset, sunrise, long rides on the bike, etc…

You were holding the camera in the beginning with the lenses right & left, whereas I was under the impression you needed to keep the lenses top and bottom?

I didn't realize holding the camera out on a pole sideways was better than holding it up and down where the lenses point up and down rather than left and right cuz then wouldn't that put you in the seam holding it out sideways?

isnt the x4 almost a year old now? or you mean that you got yours 6 months ago? i been eyeballing the the x3, but i have an x3 and i dont use it enough to justify the upgrade. though i have started using it a little more recently. i am really hoping to see an x5 before i upgrade.
