Harriet, I Love your videos!! They are such an inspiration!! I'm 68 and 2 weeks PO from a TPF. My surgeon has me in a padded soft cast, no brace! I see him next week!! Very curious if I will have a brace 🤔 I've been told NWB for 10 weeks! I'm in awe of you because you did it so much sooner! You Rock!! I just want to be able to Dance 💃 again!! And Travel!!

Thanks you are my inspiration for healing ❤ I watched your first video while I had to wait 17 day for surgery I will be 6 weeks PO tomorrow start PT next week. Thanks for showing me you can be normal again ❤ So many people are negative, I am planning to work hard and at 6 week PO my scar is looking nice ( I didn’t pick it 😜) I am 68 so I have to be a little more careful exercising but I will work on it for sure! I notice my hardware looks so similar to your except opposite side of the leg still left leg though! Anyway prayers for you as you continue your most excellent life 🙏

Hi, discovered your 1st video while spending the weekend in hospital having done the same thing awaiting ORIF and was a really good idea of what to expect. 4 and a bit weeks post surgery now and whilst I suppose I can’t complain at rate of recovery so far it is becoming incredibly frustrating kind of not being a total invalid but not being able to do all that much either. All the best.

I didn't have surgery but I had a tibial plateau fracture as well as spiral fractures in the tibia and fibula. At 11 weeks my knee is still swollen above and stiff. The Dr said I can put full weight on it and Don t need brace anymore. My toes and foot are sore when I put weight on it and my knee is sore and cant bend too much.I will be doing PT so I hope it improves. It seems like it will never be normal again but that's probably just fear.I exercise it every day and have to take pain relievers.I am progressing but cant wait to be normal again.

I am 15 weeks past my injury, no surgery, and working hard to get it straightened. I think it’s really important.

I about 11 months post and I still can’t straighten mine. I did have 2 plates and 20 screws put in, as my break was on the extreme end. I can walk just fine, still having some slight stiffness and weakness in the knee. Hang in there and just keep doing PT and staying hydrated.

After falling down stairs I Had tibial plateau fracture in three places. Really Bad break with sever damage to peroneal nerve with loss of function to foot/ankle/big toe Had surgery July 26,2024. Today Oct 9,2025 after 9 weeks of dreadfully painful physical therapy I can only reach 94 degrees flexion so I’ll be having surgery next week to remove scar tissue and have manipulation under anesthesia. I’ve been wheelchair bound since accident. Hopefully surgery is successful and I can get back to walking real soon. Surgeon has said if I had started bending knee directly after surgery things would have been way less painful I had to change hospitals after surgery and there was a communication issue where my doc orders were not transferred and physical therapy was not initiated in a timely manner. I’m really Nervous about the next surgery . I’ve been through so much already.
