There's nothing like the peacefulness of the woods. Frankie put a smile on my face..looking for that bunny ☺️ They don't call her 'mother' nature for no reason....she evokes a oneness and tranquility of comfort as a mother's warm embrace. I'm riddled with envy. Enjoy my friend. Thank you for sharing .... best wishes from Boston 💞

Frankie made me smile going after that bunny smell....I haven’t smiled in a few months so give him a pat on the head for me in appreciation. My husband of 43 years passed away last week.....from his cancer diagnosis date to death was only 31 days. Enjoy what you can in life while you have it....which it is clear you do....things can change so quickly & not always for the better. Great video btw.

Peaceful bliss! But even the good life comes with hiccups. The two of you will find a good balance. It just takes time. My husband worked and still works out of our home, and I always worked outside the home. I retired at 52 and it was culture shock. The key - you each have to have hobbies and interests independent of each other. My husband's work is his hobby, in addition to many other interests. I had to find out what the non-working girl liked to do. When I worked, I didn't really have time for much else when I'd get home, aside from laundry, cooking dinner, etc. But I'm happy to say it all worked out in the end.

Nothing better for the soul than enjoying nature. Hobbies are required especially in winter, some done together and some not. Beautiful day to be out in the woods - I've always found joy in the deep quiet of a snowy forest - it is one of those unique experiences in life. That large ash is a beauty! Blessing to have a property you can manage - plenty of acreage to keep the large healthy trees and remove the diseased trees for firewood, etc. Certainly a dream of mine! Congratulations on finishing the hard work and getting to where the new projects show the improvements to the homestead - what a great feeling! All the best Boss - enjoy that homestead and cabin life! Cheers!

Very timely message. Followed your lead and went outside for 8 hours straight. I spent time with my trees, the soil, the wind, sun, & cold. We get old straw for free from the farmers around here. This time 7 ton on the old 40' flat bed with diy rails. Using only two tools; box cutter and garden ''claw' I'm steadily mulching 3+ acres by hand. This place was pretty sparse until I planted 500+ trees and shrubs (native, edible, wildlife habitat) and more are in the lineup. Now I am surrounded by friends; they keep me, and I keep them. Good company. thanks

tyrone elliott, Trees are like your grandpa. They can tell you about the old days and are full of patience and wisdom. Sometimes they have scars on them that can tell you things. Where a fence used to be. Where a property line is. A group of surviving grandaddy trees whisper in the wind, hinting at truths forgotten but still true. Guardians of the past that reveal former homesteads and stories. All one has to do is look, listen to the wind, and care for them as if they were family...which they are.
