You said it so well about having the capacity and learning how to meet that new capacity in the role as parents. 😊I feel like that applies for the next kid transition too.

I also had a very traumatic birth with laboring for 30 hours, pushing 4+ hours, hemorrhaging, and baby in the NICU. Your words have really challenged me to work through it and not be okay with the bitterness that creeps in when I see people having very beautiful and peaceful births. Thank you for challenging me in this, I know any anger is only holding me back and I don’t want to be the type of friend that feels bitter about other women’s positive experiences.

THANK YOU for sharing your honest feelings about breastfeeding! I’m almost 5 months in exclusively breastfeeding and I wasn’t sure if I was the only one who was just waiting for it to be done (even though it’s been going well and I am grateful I am able to do it). I have felt a little bad when talking about that!

Honestly, you aren’t alone. I have no intentions of ever nursing, just exclusively pump. Some will say it’s way harder, but in the end it all evens out.

You are such a joy to listen too! I just had my second baby 3 weeks ago and I love how you mentioned God seeing The whole picture when we only see what’s in front of us. It’s hard to remember those hard times will pass when you are in the thick of it especially new seasons in life like now being a mom of a newborn and toddler at the same time. 🥲 Reading the book of job is a great idea. God is faithful!

Love love love your honesty!! My PP period was so heavy too:( it ended up being a thyroid issue but hopefully yours is nothing to worry about! 💕 Also used a nipple shield for the 1st 3 months with my baby was a life savor! I manually pumped a few times and thankfully didn’t need to use nipple shield any longer it was hard to keep clean and always have on me so I was happy:) Of course so thankful for the shield our babies get the best milk thanks to that thing:)

Thank you for sharing! I’ve been able to connect with you over your birth story. I’m 11 weeks pp and I struggle with blaming myself for how my labor and delivery went. I’m extremely hard on myself and tell myself that God is punishing me. Part of it is because I’m still not healed from my tear so I still feel so close to the first few days postpartum. I want to be able to move past it with acceptance and not fear or anger.

I’m so sorry you are still in thick of it and are struggling 😔 it takes time to work through all those feelings and emotions - if you feel comfortable to share with someone you trust, I encourage you to do so! They can help point you to truth and comfort you🤍 I’m so glad you can relate to my story - you are Not alone!!!🫶

Just here to say that I also anatomically needed a nipple shield to feed my babies. It was the only way I could get a latch. With my second, I was able to get her to latch without the shield at 2 1/2 months!

I totally relate on the breastfeeding thing! I am so grateful I could do it, and it is definitely special to do with my baby, but I was happy to be done at a year, and my baby was showing signs that it wasn’t needed anymore so I felt good about it and we haven’t looked back!😅

Honestly, I have completely different experience 6 months post my C-section😅. My hair started falling out 2 weeks after birth and it is getting normal just about now. I weight less than before pregnancy and I'm NOT proud of it - my baby is extremely chalenging still so I barely have time to eat. And he still wakes up EVERY 1-2 hours🤷🏻♀️ still love my baby so much ❤ I'm very happy you at least got the easy baby after traumatic birth 😉 and thank you for stating this fact in your vids also

Loved this video. To the birth experience I’d encourage you to look into out of hospital birthing options, I know everyone has strong opinions but God designed us to birth babies perfectly and that is not something todays medical system cares to encourage.
