I just got a rogue wheelchair. I used to have one of those basic hospital ones and I absolutely love my new wheelchair. It’s amazing it makes me so confident and I love being able to push myself now that it’s lighter.

Scissor locks can be a bit of a pain to adjust sometimes, but they really do stay out of the way compared to regular push/pull locks.

Why have I not found you before? I too am in a wheelchair, but only for the past couple of years, so my wheelchair (who was christened Zippy) has only a few things. One upgrade I made to her was to purchase a back with adjustable lumbar support - game changer! I also had to change my tires to more robust ones as I live in a wee town in the Canadian Arctic, so I am on snow eight months of the year, with the rest of the year being dirt or mud, depending on the season. That cup holder is something that I have often bemoaned that I need, so a HUGE thank you for giving that info!!! I am a little confused about the scissor brakes, so I am going to research them more to see if they would benefit my situation. I look forward to seeing more of your videos. Being independent is something that I always prided myself on, so this has been a rather hard pill to swallow. By learning from you and other members of the ‘wheels community’, I am confident that I can regain a modicum of my independence back. A lot of my family tells me not to be silly and they love helping - and to a lot of people, I must look silly - but for my soul, I NEED to regain some, even if it’s just a bit.

You had me @ Hi. That cupholder is a Genius idea. Wish I thought of it BEFORE I spilt hundreds of Coffees & Beers lol. I just got a Trekinetic wheelchair, it's an ALL-Terrain chair & does exactly as it says. The only problem is, there is actually a single round tube in the frame to attach a cup holder. Think I may need to try to engineer something myself for the cup holder & the carry-all.

If you've not found something yet i'd have a look at the Quokka cup holder/bags, the holder attaches by tightening around the tube so shape of tube shouldn't matter

Those cup holders are costly but if ya gotta style........... i use two 5 buck bycicle holders on each downarm. Look ok and didnt put me out much. The cost of wheelchair accesories are just to costly requireing many of us to adapt. Good video though.

Love my Roho cushion. My newest one has the same valve on the front. I just recently got a Rogue chair.

I had a Rogue for 2 years. Within the first 4 months, the back adjustment broke, and I had to send it back to the factory. Once I got it back, the front castor would make a cracking noise. I went to fix it, thinking a bolt was coming loose, but no . The noise I was hearing, was the frame cracking above where the castor attaches. It eventually fell off completely, and I went back to Quickie.

I use the solid foot plate but over my legs not being worked for awhile they only.go back so far so you can turn the foot plate around to stick out further in the front if have any problems like that.

I'm interested In the cup holder, I love my scissors brakes the under mount basket is interesting but the roho imo IS WAY OVERRATED on any non air cushion or even without one I have no balance issues, when testing a roho just relying to tie my shoes was nearly a death wish level activity

I have a question? Where did you get you wheelchair? I order a wheelchair from Lowe's website on 5-20-22, I haven't received my wheelchair on 5-31-22. I fell, and hurt my knee the rehab facility marked me leave, because I when to thier doctor, and he told me that will receive a wheelchair, and a walker, but the The director of care or something I don't remember her title told me that I was go out with his told to leave against many horrent lives and I can't walk my son I don't know what to do I can't really walk I'm in pain I can't really take a shower what can I do I need help I spent over a $137 on a wheelchair and I can't walk and I'm in severe I need help

That is one downside to my current chair which is powered. Due to way it built there is no space for under storage and no bars for cup holders etc! If you put them on arm rest just makes chair harder to use as makes it wider. 🤔

Don’t know if you or anyone will see this comment, your video just showed up tonight on my recommended; but I agree all those attachments can be helpful, but do you dissemble your wheelchair if you drive? I don’t know what level you are so if I’m being a “higher level injury” guy I apologize. But as a t6 that seems so many things to get off your chair to get off in order to get into your car. Nevertheless everything in this video is very helpful for anyone until the low t’s. If you’re lazy however I’d recommend a Java air cushion instead of that cushion, but if you have more effort the roku or however you say it is more efficient for pressures sores. Just my opinion
