we got this place back home called Scary Dairy that was known for two things, 1) being haunted and 2) being where local folks would encounter the goatman. I grew up wondering every now and then if it was just a one off thing or if there had to be more of them throughout the country so I'm happy this video's been made! I've tried looking around a bit online but you won't really find any stories on the west coast. Scary Dairy is located between Oxnard and Newbury Park in ventura county, it's actually next to/near CSUCI which is also right next to the point mugu state park which I never realized back then - and I don't think my friends did either. One night my friends wanted to go check out scary dairy and I chose to sit it out because they wanted to see the goatman (people around these parts assumed it was an evil spirit but referred to them as the goatman nonetheless. I have a long history with spirits and am not foolish enough to seek out negative entities just because as I've had some personal encounters myself), he was known to sometimes have an axe and chase people with it - other times it might just attack you using its body or your car. To get to that location you have to park a ways away from scary dairy near one of the main roads and my friends had left the car to go check the place out. I don't remember how many of them went exactly, but while they were walking around the area they began to hear something running around them along with strange noises coming from the same source. They didn't know what was going on at that moment exactly, but alone in a secluded area most of them ran back afraid of what could've happened next. One of my friends did not, he froze with fear not knowing what to do and he got kicked off his feet. He ran back to the car like everyone else afterwards with something still chasing him, and when they all managed to get inside something was rocking/attacking the car before they managed to turn it on and drive away. When they had finally left and looked at the damage done to the car it was covered in scratches and had dents where it had been kicked in, and my friend had a hoof shaped bruise left where he had been kicked off his feet. To emphasize the significance of my friends being afraid in that moment, this was a group of teenagers that had some people down to sleep in a closet where a non-humin entity was known to bite/leave marks on people that slept in its space and we're used to/really love animals so they wouldn't be so easily shaken by just hearing regular noises in the dark as we regularly had late night adventures. I don't know if they ran into The Goatman or not, but being located next to a state park and the local legends seem to line up. They swore they did, I heard the story once as a teenager, but I've never seen the goatman myself and don't plan on it lmao.

The night descends as the winds howl through the approaching night air. A sound, much like the wind, rides on the breeze. It is shrill, harsh and deafening. Suddenly, there's a knock at your door, feverish pounding. Something is demanding to be let in. "David, let me in!" your brother calls, "David please, it's out here!" You rush to the door, fearful of what could be after your brother, and swing open the door without a moment's hesitation. Your face pales as time seems to slow. There, right in front of you, is the Goatman. A sinister smile spreads across its face, long and sharp teeth lining its mouth. It opens its mouth again as your eyes widen in horror, a deeper and twisted voice filling your ears as a mockery of your brother's voice says "Thank you David, I was so cold... and hungry." Its hand, clawed and horrid, reaches for you, when all of a sudden, another scream booms in the night. The Goatman stops in its tracks, retracting its hand as it spins around, roaring in response to the disembodied screech that sounded from behind you both. It turns to you and says in a different voice, your voice, "Goodbye David, I'll be back for you." A final smile spreads across its face, then it said "He's here for you". The Goatman vanishes, and there in his place, something far worse... The Man-Bear-Pig!

One time my Brother and I had been listening to one of your goatman story compilation videos so a scary vibe had thoroughly been set. While discussing the implications of potentially meeting a goatman nin the woods my now late Doggo (a huge staffordshire terrier) Caesar comes trotting into the room looking for us. The sounds of his paws on the carpet is almost like hooves (due to his long nails) so we jumped super hard. So I guess in the end my dog was your accomplice in one of the greatest jump scares of all time. Well played Darkness, Well played.

Me and my girlfriend one night were sitting on our bed in our room and I was on the computer looking at conspiracy and alien videos and my girl was coloring. It was about 3:45 am and all of assuden outside our window you could hear a goat noise coming up the hill in the back yard in the distance then it got louder and louder until our whole room and bed was shaking we both jump up and dove off the bed and were so terrified we locked ourselves in the bathroom for 3 hours!! Not the first demonic experience outside my window. Breathing footsteps tapping muffled voices and even something climbing the side of my house and it was right outside my window next to it on the siding so close to me laying in my bed I could hear the breathing and low guttural growls. Those 2 incidences were thee most terrified I have ever been and I love stuff like this and dont scare easily. At one point I thought I was going to die!
