Another cracking video Zander. I’m still waiting for the holy grail of action cams. I still love the image from GoPro (in good light), the low light and features of the AP2, but the audio setup of the DJI A5 is superb. The latter is what I use but I keep hovering over the buy button for an AP2. Little things like the cancel recording feature is love on my DJI. Thanks for the mention by the way. What a nice surprise and greatly appreciated. Keep smashing it mate 👍🏻

for me it is 2 reasons: 1) Simplicity / Convenience 2) Durability / Repairability Smartphones are a pretty good swiss-knife-like package (especially for photos) but if you have ever used a higher-priced action camera and the nearly endless creative possibilities they can offer, you will question yourself why you have not bought one earlier.

side note: regarding 360 cameras / esp. the insta X4 do NOT underestimate the additional workload when editing the files, be it for a longer single shot or many many shorter single clips. I owned the X3 and sold it after 3/4 year of use and the difference between editing and cutting (let's say a holiday movie with around 300 files) of a 360 cam and a "regular" action cam like the Action 5 is HUGE. I think best is if you have both types of cameras and use a 360 camera like a drone - pimp up your movies with "special" shots but do not film anything on a 360 camera unless you are really efficient and experienced in a professional editing software.
